Premier Inn Haverfordwest (North/A40)

stayed here with my wife as my mother in law was brought into the hospital suddenly and we needed to be her. we arrived late but had a friendly welcome from a member of staff (i think his name was lee). We found that the room was clean and comfortable and just what we needed.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast. Downside: Aircon system extremely noisy, and a funny smell in the room. (Probably due to never getting any fresh air as windows are permanently closed!) Other customers were also heard complaining and getting de-humidifiers being installed in their rooms.) In order to get any sleep at all (this was 11pm on New Year's Eve and no chance of being fixed, and 'Yes', we could have complained but who wants to change rooms at that time of night - with the probability that other rooms had the same problem anyway,) my ever resourceful spouse disconnected the Fan using the trip switch on Fusebox ! It meant that we lost the lights too, but at least we could get some sleep (and we had a torch !) All our clothes also 'inherited' the smell and everything had to be laundered on arriving home. A shame as we found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and conscientious.

Stayed here twice now for work as it is close to the site and my company use premier inns as standard, Great location and service with free parking but once again as you can not open the windows and get fresh air with poor air conditioning room is very stuffy . Not good when you are a asthma suffer and can't sleep

Nice clean hotel and my room was spacious. Free parking was good and the shower had plenty of hot water. The disappointment was the air con. It seems like the only heat source in the room and it was very noisy. I didn’t settle in for the night until quite late so didn’t report the problem. Depending on whether the air con was on or off, it was either too noisy or too cold to sleep,

Went to a drum and base event on the weekend and the hotel was in a great location just a 5 minute drive into town. receptionists were very nice on arrival and departure didnt however get to try the breakfast as i needed to be off early but im sure its nice as most premier breakfasts are.

Clean comfortable stay. Nice coffee making area. Beds were comfy and hotel was quiet at night. Breakfast was plentiful. Lots of parking outside and is opposite a restaurant which has a play area outside which was fantastic for the kids to have some time to blow off some steam. (While we may oh had a couple)
