The place just really needs a proper renovation. Everything is so old and just dirty. The first room I got assigned smelled like mold and I could barely breath. I got a different room but still the air was pretty bad and the bed was super squeaky. I had to literally insist to get a room key and got asked 'to please share the key with my roomate'... like never had something like this before.

We had a great stay. Very clean and comfy room nice wine and excellent food and service. Would highly recommend.

This is the only hotel in the area, and the family room they gave us was very, very good. On the opposite side of the door, we can pass through a forest that feels a bit magical and go to the lake. There is actually a "SHANGHAI BAY" there. Later we found out that the road in front of the hotel is called "SHAN GHAI RD". After asking around, no one could tell the origin...
