Balmain Modern Apartments

We stayed at 5/687 Darling Street Sydney and it was the worst experience I have had. The unit was filthy even though the cleaners had just been as we collected the keys from them! black mould in the bathroom, filthy grout through the shower recess, chips on the bedroom floor from previous guests - who knows when, loung was so filthy I could not sit on it, the only table in the place was damaged and filthy the dining chairs had black gressey marks on them that I cleaned off. We could not make toast for breakfast as it kept tripping the electricity. so no breakfast. the unit had an awful smell about it and finally there is major construction happening at the back of the unit so it is incredibly noisey - nothing mentioned about this when we booked. I would not recommend this to anyone until they sort their cleaners and refurbish and advise about the constuction which will go on for at least 12 months.
