Ibis Budget Roye

Very basic but for the budget price is perfect for a late night stop over on the way to Disneyland. Couldn’t check in using the computer system but luckily someone was there to check us in at the desk instead. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room but was clean and comfortable for a quick stay

Booked two rooms a few months ago.Arrived at Ibis Budget Roye at 21.05 and checked in using automatic machine in the foyer. On entering our room we could see that the bedding hadn’t been changed from the previous occupant and the wet towels were in the basin.We went to the other room that we had booked for my son and granddaughters and found that their room was the same. My husband went to see if he could find anyone but as reception closes at 21.00 they was nobody about to speak to. We found a single sheet on the bunk above the bed which we put on our double bed and decided to sleep on top of the bed in our clothes. This was a stressful start to our visit to Disney. We have sent a complaint to Accor but have had no reply.

We stayed here on our way home from Disneyland Paris. It cost us (2 adults and 1 child) £64.91 including breakfast TOTAL. For a 2* we were not expecting much but the room is clean and modern with a shower and toilet and a TV. It’s compact but perfectly fine for a stopover. Check in is done using the computer inside the hotel, you don’t see anyone which is weird but it’s so easy. There’s a McDonalds o minute walk away. Definitely book with breakfast, a selection of pastries, cereal, yogurts, cheese, crackers, fruit juices and tea and coffee - just help yourself. It’s definitely no frills but if you need somewhere just to break up the journey to/from Disneyland, it’s a brilliant location. We read some online reviews and were put off, we only booked as we couldn’t find anywhere else in the vicinity. We were pleasantly surprised and would stay again.

terrible smell on each floor , small rooms wc is like prison cell...not enough lights in the room. dirty sheets . no air conditioner i cant say very hot but nevertheless no available air condiner.... noisy as well because near to motorway...alternative hotels could be adviced. PS : no English speaking avaliable , go with google translater :D

Ok so plus points: cheap, cleanish, v close to motorway and felt safe. However I have stayed in a few budget ibis travelling between destinations and this one felt the most budget. Weird toilet/shower room, roasting hot (despite it not being too hot a day- high 20s-and a minimum of a dozen mosquito blood splatters on the walls of the room. It’s an interesting dilemma during the night of the stifling heat versus the open window with the loud road noise and evidence of mozzys on the walls from past occupants. On reflection would have traveled further/paid more for a better nights sleep. I’d recommend the hotel make fans etc available to help deal with the heat during the summer seasons. With this it would be a more feasible overall offer.
