Peaceful cabins along the Roy Bridge. Martin is a gracious host. The area is beautiful. Highly recommend to hikers/bikers of the Great Glen Way.

Flat, sh1t beer at £6.75 a pint if the wee Scottish fag behind the bar hears your English accent. (If you're local and give him favours, there's a lower price.😉🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿) The bunkhouse is sh1t too with a drying room that is cold and showers that are freezing. Avoid these ar$eholes and eat and drink in the friendly, high quality Stronlossit Inn 200m away.

We were staying at a nearby cottage and ventured out to see what was dog friendly in Roy Bridge. We found the Roy Bridge Hotel and were welcomed by Iain who we had already met earlier with his own dog. He was working well with Martin and they both delivered a very friendly and efficient service. The selection of beers and wines were wide enough to keep every visitor happy and the menu did the same. Iain gave us some excellent tips on where to go and what to see in the local area. we ate there twice and both times the food was very well cooked by Martin and just to our liking. A very good place to eat and chat and thank you to both Iain and Martin for helping Roy Bridge be a great holiday

When I visit the Scottish Highlands I sadly expect neither value for money or decent food, but this place surprised even me, due to its unwelcoming atmosphere, overprced cheap quality meals and drinks and strange room rules, such as only sleeping between the sheets (one can only assume this was to avoid doing laundry). they even charged 80pence extra for condiments and forbade the preparation of food in my cabin. Truly one of the most astounding examples of the Highland stereotype I have ever encountered. I almost felt like if I had enjoyed my stay that the owners would have somehow felt like they'd made a loss....

Forgot I still had an account here, glad I did so I could review Roy Bridge Hotel. First of all the food was okay, nothing special but not a disaster. Didn't realise there wasn't a restaurant only a noisy bar, with dogs barking. I found the staff to be quite abrupt and not very welcoming. It had a very strange atmosphere. We had to pay for sauce (40p per sauce) whilst other bigger parties got it for free. The fish didn't even come with tartar sauce - had to pay for that also. Definitely won't be back.

Wasn’t staying in the hotel but in the Bunroy Park camp site. Popped in for a beer and they had Ale…..even better! Bar staff very welcoming and very informative of local knowledge and surrounding area. Chatted to other holiday makers from Madrid who ate and they said food was excellent. Will certainly revisit if in this area again.

Staying at a local B & B, we decided to call here for our evening meal - mistake! The dining area was dark and unwelcoming but in desperate need of a meal after a long day out, we decided to stay. We both ordered gammon, with chunky chips (as described on the menu) and for me, lime and soda water. After a long discussion with a member of staff who did not seem to understand the difference between lemonade and soda with lime, our order was eventually placed. As we waited, the staff were working around us to fix the internet connection, plugging and unplugging ethernet cables and boxes, and we listened to a call from a former customer who was clearly making a complaint about the room/service they had received. Our food arrived and instead of home-cooked chunky chips, as described on the menu, it had thin-cut (frozen) French fries, the gammon was gristly and I was unable to drink the soda and lime which was completely flat! The whole meal, minus the cost of the lime and soda which they took off the bill was £50, including one diet Pepsi - a complete waste of money. In hindsight, a packet of crisps and bottle of water would have been a better option.

Tourist Rip off ,shocking , 1st when entering met by angry dog tied up to a fire exit ! With sign that reads approach dog at own risk, lets hope there is not a fire ! . Ordered food and drinks , homemade steak pie and thick cut homemade chips, received a pie from i would suspect Aldi and oven fries ! £16 really !!!!.its more the homemade lie than the food that annoyed me.if your selling pre made product just be honest. A pint of Tennents to me was £7.40 !!!! But i heard mention to someone else they would get "local" price and they paid less than £5 for the same drink. Would never use this place again as it is clearly set up to Rip off tourists and passers by.
