The room was dirty with stains in the carpet (photo) and mold in the bathroom sink and tiles. The door of the bathroom would not close properly, the room’s door handle assembly would fall off (photo), the support for the toilet paper was loose and the roll would constantly fall on the floor (house keeping did not even replenish the toilet paper, the tissue box was empty), never seen pillows so hard, the pillows were so old and compacted they felt like they were made of sand, making laying down or sleeping very uncomfortable. The bathroom was so tiny the sink was 12” and could only fit one hand at the time under the faucet (photo) and the door had to open outwards but not fully because it hits the bed, there was only a 60cm ledge in the bathroom to put your stuff and it was right over the toilet (photo) the lighting is not enough to shave or put on make up, had to use the windows, the closet would not fit clothes for two people so we gad to leave stuff in the suitcases and there were only two coat hangers for shirts/coats. You can only see through one window and the other faces a brick wall in front, its claustrophobic (photo) and has no sound proofing so you can hear the music from the pub across the street at night. The room was so small the door was a foot from your head on the bed which was not only uncomfortable but gave zero privacy if you open the door (photo). The room was outside the hotel (photo) and up three flights of narrow stairs with your luggage. Because the room is so small the A/C unit is in a place that it blows the air directly at the bed so you have to turn it off. There is absolutely no excuse for charging for a 4 star room and instead giving you this, and management didn’t even bother to inquire about this after I complained at reception and was told they would.
