I booked a single room mid-week for an overnight stay on business. I was given the single room at the top of the hotel, which is the width of a small single bed and the door entrance. No desk or dresser, only surface to put stuff was a amall bedside table, undervthe tv, which just about fitted the phone. The bathroom was little more than an alcove at the end of the bed (no door) with a loo and shower, no soap provided and I couldn't tunaround in the shower. The mug and spoon provided for tea was stained and grubby, and felt unhygienic, toe nails left on the floor. My only positive comment is that on asking for a full refund, they didn't quibble. Colleagues staying in other rooms said lumpy beds and hot rooms - no one got any sleep. I moved hotels and spent a delightful evening at the Spa Hotel up the road.
