Comfortable bed and pillows. Room temperature just right. Shower, good water pressure and temperature.
It’s not the most upto date hotel.
But is cosy and comfortable.
Breakfast, cooked to order. Hot and tasty.
The tea and the hot chocolate in the room is good.
The tea at breakfast is poor. When I book again I will take my tea from the room to breakfast.

There is a good parking lot. The service is very good and the front desk is very welcoming. Average value for money. Hygiene is commendable and the sheets have no smell. The rooms and facilities are older.

Central town centre location in Tunbridge Wells, useful to have the free car park (unlike most hotels nearby). Budget conscious, but it’s clean and comfortable. It might be a bit dated but some might call that ‘retro charm’.

Not the hotel for me.
The service was fantastic and the breakfast was fabulous the next morning. The decor is dated. I dont like the bath shower set up. The chairs and curtains and carpets are all dark and old. Maybe have some music playing quietly at the bar. The single bed was not comfortable. My 1 case weighs 30 kg, no lift, steps everywhere you go, this is not practical for someone with luggage. The receptionist did ask a guest to take my heavy suitcase up the 3 flights of steps for me. The staff are lovely and really helpful. The photos are so deceiving. The shops are really close to the hotel, thats no lie.

My twin room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Do note that this is an older building, and there is no lift.
