Sadly I had miss-booked 9th instead of the 19th but no hint of a discount to rebook for the correct date. Yes my mistake but some good customer relations would have inspired me to rebook but I’ll be booking elsewhere.

We had a lovely midweek visit here in order to attend a show at The Assembly Hall. We arrived too early to check in but we were able to leave our luggage securely whilst we went exploring. Our room was lovely (we had a family room to be used as a twin). The bedside lamps were on and Classic FM was playing quietly on a Roberts radio - very welcoming. There was even a handwritten note from housekeeping wishing us an enjoyable stay! A hairdryer, ironing board and iron were in the wardrobe and I did a little coffee dance when I realised that there was a Nespresso machine and pods, as well as a kettle with teabags, biscuits etc. The toiletries were luxurious and smelt gorgeous (and available to buy from reception). Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Three little gripes - the pillows were very hard, we couldn't open our window and the carpet in our room was stained - but it didn't deter from an enjoyable stay.

I was looked after extremely well by Anthony and Amy, who upgraded me to a deluxe suite. This was absolutely stunning and felt so luxurious. I felt very spoilt. I was staying at the hotel to attend a funeral after postponing my stay previously due to a bereavement, and Amy and Anthony were very accommodating about changing the dates of my stay. A lovely hotel and great location. The cocktails were great and the riostto was really delicious. I would strongly recommend staying here as the staff are very professional and nothing is too much trouble. Hope to be back again soon.

Beste ontbijt en gastvriendelijkheid! Sowieso een aanrader om Engeland te bezoeken! Vriendelijke mensen en mooie omgeving. Dit hotel zit op rij afstand van kust Dover en Londen. Wij hadden mooi weer en hebben Londen uitgebreid bekeken. De boot is een aanrader.

Very friendly staff, great location with parking. Great breakfast including delicious vegan options. Very clean room , lashings of hot water for the requested bath. Only criticism being slightly tired furniture in the bedroom and hard pillows. Would definitely stay again.

Great customer service from staff, very accomodating and helpful. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Very nice setting for breakfast. Food was lovely with good choices.
