However, I don't understand or appreciate the concept of this hotel. I misunderstood the fact that the rooms were completely windowless... I've never seen that; they justify it by claiming it's to facilitate sleep, which is completely false. Because there are no windows, everything in the room is artificial: the ventilation, the temperature, and the light. This makes the living environment very unpleasant, and I won't even mention the odors. They camouflage it with outlets that diffuse odors, but it's unbearable. Everything in the room is minimalist; there is no box spring, the mattresses are placed on a slightly raised wooden floor, the bathroom is very small, and there are no closets or shelves. Once again, they justify it by claiming it's to improve residents' sleep. I don't see the connection. It's clearly to save money, so why not take responsibility for it? Likewise, there isn't really a reception; you have to check in alone using tablets, even though the staff can help you if needed. This is clearly done to save staff costs, too, that's pretty clear. Likewise, some standard services that you find free in most hotels are theoretically chargeable here, like storing your suitcase for a day would cost £15....
