This is marketed as an apartment stay, but it's actually more like a hostel as you don't get the whole apartment but instead get a room with shared facilities such as a bathroom and kitchen. This means there is no lounge. It looks very clean in the photos but do not be fooled - the communal areas (especially the bathroom) have grime and dead insects in the corners, and the windows. are streaky and look like they've never been cleaned. The floors are dusty and you won't want to walk around in bare feet. The area is a long way out of central London (about an hour) and feels very rough, especially at night (Google "murder of Lee Rigby"). The front door doesn't automatically lock when closed so you have to rely on the people in the other room remembering to lock it, which doesn't feel very safe. On the positive side there is a massive TV (I didn't use it), tea and coffee facilities in the room. The bed was comfy and it was nice to have access to a kitchen (no washing machine though). I would not stay here again though.
