The room we stayed in was a normal one, but it was 961€ (just under 160,000 yen) for two nights with breakfast, which is a very high-end price. However, not only do Finnish hotels not provide toothbrushes or combs in the rooms, but this hotel also did not provide shoehorns. The room was also dry, and there were other issues such as a broken plug in the bathtub. I ended up at this hotel because I don't like unit baths, but I guess the price and quality are not in line because it's a famous tourist destination.
The good points were that the breakfast was delicious, the restaurant we had dinner at was authentic, and the staff were friendly.

The hotel facilities are very good, next to the skiing place, basically the hotel is built on the top of the mountain 👍🏻The hotel restaurant is pretty good for breakfast or dinner! I tried the most expensive surprise menu and it was delicious, but the portion was not enough. I would rather order 2 main courses for one person. There is a private sauna in the hotel room, which is very good, enough space for 2 people. The picturesque scenery on the roof of the hotel is worth taking pictures.

We went a week before Christmas 2024. It was magical with the snow. Like being in a Christmas card. Remote, with a few hours of daylight. The staff were lovely, the room was nice and clean. We would definitely stay again Man I love Christmas…..

A wonderful location, friendly, happy and knowledgeable staff, with exquisite food. This is quite possibly my favourite restaurant now. Such great staff, happy and chatty, and who clearly knew the food. Ok, I've only been once, going again tomorrow, but it was fantastic. Have the taster starter, 6 Finnish dishes including trout, reindeer pie, reindeer tartare and local cheese with a berry chutney. Reindeer two ways for main. Rare, succulent and delicious. I highly recommend this place. Go there.
