Extended Stay America Select Suites - Austin - Round Rock

My family stayed here for a weekend for a family event (the room was nice). We did not know that towels would cost $10.00 to replace bcuz we never stayed at a extended stay hotel!!! That was disappointing especially for weekenders! Plus the floor above us or people above us kept walking hard all night long!!!! Oh yeah, roaches were at the back exit door but they didn't get in or in our room! Twana at the front desk was very nice!!

Nice clean and nice hospitality great sleep no bad reports .. it was great.only stayed one night but as much as I have been going from hotel to hotel traveling around I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast coffee internet was all offered I wished I had time to take a dip in pool view was great also. Outside was clean.. normally I would see trash all over outside but I was surprised to see nothing in their lawn.

First, the floors of these rooms are grossly, filthy dirty. 30 seconds of walking around barefoot and it looks like u been walking barefoot in dirt. Most importantly, the service here was horrible. We called ahead for a late check in and they confirmed but after arriving and calling every number we could find, 1 hour later the night shift girl came down. She said that since it was past midnight it showed our reservation was a no show. It took her maybe 30mins-1hour just to be able to get us in whatever available rooms they had for the night and switch us tomorrow. One of us had to sleep on the floor because there’s only one bed and 3 of us. The next day we checked in 3 times and they said our new room would be ready soon each time and we never got that new room so we had to squeeze us in that little room for 3 nights. The larger black woman I think her name was Andrea was very rude to us and lied about not having clean towels. We had to track down another employee to give us clean towels. There also was no soap provided in the bathroom as is expected of any and every hotel and motel….we stayed Oct 20-23.

I booked my reservation drove from Corpus Christi Texas with a 2 and 3 year old babies I get there and the poor lady at the desk told me that The manager Danielle was supposed to call me cause they over booked so they canceled my reservations I was furious at this time and I told that lady no one ever called or I didn’t even get an email of the cancellation and every place around or even close by was booked I had NO Where to stay with 2 babies the lady at the desk did the best she could she said we have no rooms available and I said well I have already been charged so now what and she said I can put u in a handicapped room I got one bed for 4 people and a pull out twin bed for 2 babies not what I asked for I had no blankets no toilet paper I had to go buy my own everything roaches EVERYWHERE in the room bathtub was filthy I had to go buy bleach to clean it b4 I took a bath the elevator was reading of **** smell and even down the hall ways appearantly the manager Danielle doesn’t take care of business like a manager should I have a case going on this with customer realations I will be taking further action if needed the and also the elevators aren’t safe they squeak between floors and hasn’t been inspected by the fire marshal either their inspection expired in March of 2022 so with that being said I hope they really do something and check this place out along with the manager Danielle I will never stay here again nor refer anyone to this place stay CLEAR of this place
