We had a great stay including a dinner here. It’s in an amazing location and is a perfect place to stay if you’re planning on hiking the Martell Trail. We arrived there late in the day after a busy day at the beach, but the staff hung in there and the kitchen cooked us an amazing dinner. We also placed an order that night to have some sandwiches made the next morning that we could take with us on our hike. Most importantly, the Inn let us keep our rental car parked in their lot at the Inn all day while we were on our hike which was great. Finally, the Inn arranged for a taxi to pick us up the next morning to take us on a 1-way ride to Chatel de Maline which is the preferred starting location that many prefer when hiking the Martel Trail. That allowed us to finish our hike right at the Inn where our car had been parked all day. The staff at the Inn helped us get the most out of our limited time in the area and we really appreciated it.

The only bar available between Castellane and La Palude, in a strategic place for panorama, trail and water sports. they take advantage of the tourist: a Coca Cola 3,30€, a beer 6,50€ and if you need toilet, it is not available due drought, but toilet is a right for customers and not a whim. But Water for flowers are available. A good option is use their trees

Very friendly and informal atmosphere, offering very good value for money in this special location. The rooms are basic, but the location is fantastic and the reception, bar and service outstanding. Would be happy to return for a longer stay

I stayed at the hotel as I was rafting in the canyon and needed a place that was close by... I would recommend this place if you plan to visit the canyon and need a place to stay that is in the middle of the canyon. However not that the hotel is in the middle of the canyon, amazing location, but nothing else around.. i assumed I would drive for dinner to closest town about 30 min but quickly decided that was not an option when I saw how treacherous the roads are to drive at night. If you stay here plan to have dinner at the hotel.. the dinner was actually very decent... The room was very sparse and basic but it had everything I needed... Parking is included.. the hotel is 5 min away walking from an amazing canyon viewing spot.. overall great location in a remote area with surprisingly decent food.

Spent 3 nights here whilst walking in the Verdon Gorge. Basic but comfortable room with ensuite shower and toilet. Whilst there were no vegan options on the menu, the manager arranged vegan meals in the restaurant and provided vegan picnics for our days walking. We were very impressed.

We dropped in for lunch after our trek- it was a fantastic experience. The food was amazing - we tried the local salads, lamb and omelette. The views were great. Quick service, friendly staff. Good choices on the menu highly recommended

Nous avons mangé à l'auberge. Nous n'avions pas réservé. Très bon accueil de la patronne ainsi que des serveurs. On voit que la responsable aime vraiment ce qu'elle fait et travaille avec des producteurs locaux et en circuit court. Nous nous sommes régalés, salades excellentes et que dire de la tarte aux amandes....à part exceptionnelle. Nous reviendrons à l'occasion cela ne fait aucun doute.
