This hotel has a good environment and good hygiene. The boss is Chinese, so he takes every detail into consideration. The Bannick salmon in the morning was delicious. It's a 5-minute drive from the town center. You can call a taxi for SGD 20. The only problem is that the room rates are quite high compared to other hotels in town. You can consider it if you are not short of money, and the experience is good.
The hotel used to be a private mansion with every detail. The hotel is facing Lake Rotorua, the room has a wide view, five minutes drive from the skyline and ten minutes from the downtown. The hotel has its own paddock, where horses and sheep graze leisurely on the slopes. Breakfast can be cooked to order, and the lamb in the kiwi breakfast is very good. It was very comfortable to take a walk in the courtyard after eating breakfast. The hotel staff was warm and considerate. Some regrets were that because of the self-service on the skyline, I didn't try the dinner at the hotel. I have a chance to try it next time. There is a study room on the second floor of the hotel. There is a 200-page world map on the table. It has been turned over and confirmed that there is no less in China.
Children are not allowed, only 16 years old and above can be accommodated! Suitable for honeymoon couples! In New Zealand, don't think about breaking the rules of soft grinding and hard foaming. It is a rule not to allow children under the age of 16 to stay!

When I went there was a Chinese receptionist. I donโt know if the boss is Chinese, so the communication is very smooth. A typical motel, the room is simple but enough, it is very close to the parking lot, and the sound insulation is average. If you donโt sleep well, please think twice or prepare earplugs. The location is very good on the main street of Rotorua, not far from the government garden and Polynesian hot springs. If you drive, the parking spaces in the courtyard are limited and you may not be able to park. The parking spaces are full and you can stop on the street. It is recommended that the boss prepare a check-out key box. This can be checked out quickly without ringing the bell every time you go to the front desk
Very small and old, about less than two square meters single room, the curtains are not uniform, a girl is a bit panicked, but the front desk is very warm, the equipment is a bit old, the room is a bit old, but there is a snack street at the door, very good
Generally speaking, although all the hotels booked during the self-driving trip around New Zealand may not be available in luxury hotels (after all, the population density is very low), basically all the hotel beds are very comfortable and clean, which is really important. During the day, we are basically outside either driving or hiking, so having a comfortable and clean bed when we rest really ensures our sleep quality. I was mentally prepared before arriving at the room every time, but in fact, every time it was a little bit beyond my expectations. Like the one I booked in Rotorua this time, the room was clean and tidy, the bedding and mattress were very comfortable, and there was an extra bed in the room. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen has an oven, the bathroom has a washing machine, and it's very close to the busiest streets. Because the itinerary is very tight, I arrive at the hotel very late every time and leave very early, so the above conditions are considered satisfactory for self-driving travel๐๐
The bedroom was nice
And the kitchen was nice
And everything is really clean
And the reception person was really kind and nice
But when I took a shower
There was a cold water and hot water .
And the light frequently turned on and turned off
So itโs quite hard to take a shower
But except this, everything was nice
Pros - good location, almost everything is within walking distance. The room is large, has everything you need, except maybe a washing machine, but it (and a dryer) are on the hotel grounds, for coins. The staff is friendly and willing to help. Cons - we got a room by the road, it was a bit noisy. The hot tub was outside and covered in dust, so we didn't use it.
Strategically located at the city center, this place offers great convenience to a lot of restaurants nearby. The infamous Polynesian spa is within walking distance (about 5 minutes walk) and other attractions such as government gardens, sulphur point, lake Rotorua etc. are within walking distance. We got a double room for more privacy, basic amenities are available but I do not think there is a hairdryer (I brought mine anyway) so prepare one if you were to stay here.
We recently stayed for two nights at Urban Lounge Rotorua, and it was a fantastic experience! The friendly staff welcomed us and made us feel at home. Although we didn't catch the name of the receptionist who assisted us during check-in, both she and Prasad were lovely.
The facilities were excellent. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy for us to prepare our own meals. We also enjoyed the co-lab space, where my wife and I were able to get some work done.
Overall, we felt we received great value for our money during our stay.
Very Good
