If it weren't for the excellent concierge service provided by Cleo, the front desk assistant manager, the overall service would definitely be a two-star rating. I informed the hotel through trip.com before booking that this trip was for my wife's birthday. The hotel only replied via email after several days of prodding, promising a welcome amenity. However, upon check-in, I discovered nothing had been arranged. I reported this to Cleo, and she only offered me two drink vouchers as an apology. This hotel's breach of trust with its guests is unforgivable. As for the room, I couldn't agree with its design and arrangement. Upon entering, there was a large, empty space, but only one chair. Did the hotel expect this room to be occupied by only one person? Furthermore, there was a large pillar in the room that took up some of the space. I had previously requested that the hotel not give me a room with a large pillar in the middle, and they did just that. The pillar was not in the middle of the room, but on the side. It was truly amusing. Worst of all, there was a large air conditioner radiator directly outside the window next to the bed. Even with the window and curtains closed, I could still hear the whirring fan, making it feel like sleeping in a factory. Finally, thank you again to Cleo for her excellent service. Without her, this hotel wouldn't be worthy of being called a Pullman.
