Disgusting ! Firstly! The smell inside the pub was awful! We asked if we could sit anywhere hardly anyone in to be told if the table wasn’t reserved! Hardly anywhere to sit due to reserves on tables but on closer look they were reserved from 630/7pm onwards and we came to eat at 3.30pm. I’m not sure why the reserves are out so early! We ordered a sharer platter and it was disgusting the worse food I’ve ever seen or tried! It smelt off and didn’t look appealing. We immediately asked for a refund and left!

Called in as it looked ok for a quick family tea after a hectic day. Service and staff were fantastic, but the food was atrocious. Ordered the meat platter, and it was basically a plate of fat. The mac and cheese was stone cold and the coleslaw was shop bought basic range. Ordered a side salad for £3.50 extra and it was literally out of date lettuce and a wilted spring onion. Didn’t complain as the staff were lovely, but will never eat here again.

Went for my dad's birthday on the 14th,,,,there were over 25 of us all ordered different meals,,,the ordering was easy and fast service ,,,They catered for my wife's gluten free diet and got it spot on ,,she had the GF sirloin stake and said it was cooked to perfection,,,The prices are very good too ,,,we had a really good experience to be fair and one of the staff ,Larna, was really helpful the minute we got there she welcomed us and asked if we needed anything in particular, when we told her about my wife needing glutenfree menu, she did everything that was needed and was so helpfull.

Great service and good in the bar! Nicola was especially helpful, letting us choose exactly where we wanted to sit and looking after 2 tired travellers - we will absolutely be back next time we're in this part of the united kingdom for sure! :D

Lovely stay here for one night the room was nice and so was the food would stay again and highly recommend .the staff was also nice.what more could I say everything you need in one place.we also had the breakfast and that tasted good.the only thing that annoyed me was we was a big group 8 and I paid for my full breakfast and scrambled eggs on toast my bill come to 13:99 but lady called us back in to pay again I think another 5er which my boyfriend paid for I don't think this was ours to pay as prices didn't add up .
