My parents have just had 50th golden anniversary John the manager was absolutely brilliant. There was about 180 people catered for plenty of food really good as a venue don't be put off by the other reviews. This is a really good venue for birthdays and christenings and weddings. I would definitely book again

Large room . Very dusty , I found a pair of dirty socks behind a set of drawers . The waste bin was filthy with used tissues under the bin liner ! Should have asked for a refund really but was just happy to get out of the place if I’m honest . Very disappointing for £62 room only .

Amazing place - amazing staff If you are looking for hospitality then this is the place to be. 100% would recommend this to anyone! Lou and Stefan the owners are lovely too, always going out of their way to help anyone. Parking is easy Large car park

My partner and I had an all you can eat breakfast on Sunday 23rd January at the Consort Hotel and have been recommending it to everyone since. We will return soon with family to enjoy the atmosphere and wonderful food. The people who have taken over the management are doing an amazing job and putting their own stamp back to make the place great again. Do yourselves a favour and try the place out. You won't regret it!

Great value
Great location for us travelling down through the spine of the country. Especially with the 24 hour reception as we arrived 2am after a show. Comfy beds, decent size room, bath, hot shower, tea and coffee facilities.

Had to pay for breakfast when ******* advertise it with free breakfast. Room had broken furniture and paper peeling off walls.room was quite dirty.

Pleasant and unforgettable stay
Very pleasant experience to stay at Consort Hotel. The room vas spacious and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and cooperative. Breakfast starts at 8 am but they prepared breakfast for me at 7 am on my request as I had to start my work at 8 am

Tried to review taking into account the price. It was a good location to break the journey. I arrived very late, reception lady helped me take bags to room as no lift. Very big room. Run down but clean and warm. Big bathroom with bath clean
Thing i didnt like on leaving the cleaners looked like a family man wife and kid opened my door no english, didnt like the way they were not knocking wouldn't have felt safe. I asked the way out, asked if they spoke english and the kid young boy insulted me. I wouldnt have stayed another day with them hanging around.
