We absolutely loved our stay at Historik Hotel Gotisches Haus! The building is stunning — full of old-world charm with beautiful wood beams and historic details, but everything still felt really comfortable and modern. Our room was super cozy and clean, and the bathroom was surprisingly luxurious.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location couldn’t have been better — right in the heart of Rothenburg, just steps from all the sights. Breakfast was fresh and delicious too, served in such a cozy atmosphere.
If you want a memorable and authentic stay in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, I highly recommend this hotel.

Situato nel cuore della città, comodo per muoversi, ma senza parcheggio. Caratteristico, ristrutturato in stile locale, bagni spaziosi, un po’ meno le camere nei piani superiori a causa della forma del tetto. Pulito, personale molto accogliente. Peccato che non c’è una zona bar, se si desidera bere qualcosa, si viene serviti nelle piccole poltroncine di fianco alla “reception/hall” che è praticamente quasi inesistente in quanto, lo spazio della zona ingresso e davanti al desk dell’accoglienza, è adibito a “sala ristorante”. Non c’è una vera e propria area comune al di fuori della zona ingresso/reception/ristorante che come ho scritto sopra, è un unico ambiante che funge da tutto e che a mio avviso potrebbe essere un’eccellente hall!

This historic hotel is truly one of a kind! It’s the oldest in the area and has been beautifully renovated. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help. We stayed in the charming and spacious attic suite, and we absolutely loved it! We loved this hotel so much that we even bought a miniature clay building of it as a souvenir. We highly recommend this hotel, and when we get the chance to visit the area again, we will definitely stay here once more!

This is a great little hotel in a top location, an experience to stay here. The historic atmosphere compliments the ancient town. Very spacious room including hot tub in the bathroom. Generous and extensive choices for breakfast. Staff friendly, helpful and accomodating. Suggest you book well in advance for busy periods.
