Upon arrival no one answered the door on either side of the street. We had no way to call the number posted. Fortunately kind guests helped to call as they were coming out the door and directed us to our room. No contact with hosts until breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was excellent.

Quite clean. Breakfast is simple but good and the host family is very kind and always available to help.
Nonetheless, rooms are small and soundproofing is poor so you can hear noises from other rooms (e.g. toilets flushing, bathroom extractor fans, rushing water from the showers, etc.).
Overall, we found it overpriced: during the same holiday, we stayed in 3 and 4-star hotels in the very centre of Nuremberg, Bamberg and Regensburg and they were all cheaper than this pension.

Great location, beautiful old building in great condition, very clean and comfortable, inside city wall but far enough away from center to allow for quiet stay. Excellent breakfast downstairs, close and affordable parking, hosts responsive to emails. (I emailed in German but they also speak English.) Great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!
