It had a clean bed and hot water

The hotel was average and without many amenities. The elevator was not in service but staff allowed us to use the service elevator upon initial arrival to get our bags upstairs. We did have to trek through all the back areas of the hotel to access. As far as convenience and comfort goes, that wasn’t an ideal start. We had been driving for 10 hours. They did give us a very large sized room to accommodate my special needs adult son. Since the elevator was not in service the front desk also gave us 3 breakfast tickets that normally costs $12 each. It was a nice gesture. We left early in the AM for the next leg of our trip so didn’t use it but it was still nice it was provided. And the final thing is that upon check in I was told that because I booked on Hopper the taxes weren’t included. I pulled up my email receipt and saw tax was collected and paid already. I am a capital one card holder and booked through the capital one traveler program which does connect to Hopper but the charges included fees. After being on the road and traveling for many hours, and only wanting to get in to our room to rest, I didn’t want to fuss over the additional $15 charge for taxes. It doesn’t feel good after you’ve paid in full to show up somewhere and be told there’s an added surprise charge. I think the place is ok and the staff were nice but several of these points would prevent me from booking again.

Guy at the front dese upon arrival was rude.

Would stay again Very nice hotel. It seems one of the newest in town.
