We arrived to a stunning cottage. The staff were so helpful. The cottage and grounds very clean and tidy. It was just what we wanted peace and tranquility. The place is situated right near all public transport. We are already looking at dates to come back. Absolutely beautiful place can’t fault this place at all. Thank you so much to all the wonderful staff. Sheryl p

The cottage was not like the photos online . Oven dirty and greasy with left over chips . Stained cushions . You could write your name in the dust on the hob and on the top of the leather chair . The place is run down and tired . Worn floor and evidence of damp . Basic cheap bedding . Cutlery in drawer greasy . Absolutely nothing to like ! Needs modernising and a new cleaner

My wife & I have just returned from a lovely & relaxing break, walking in Haslingden & Rossendale areas. We stayed in the ‘Nest’ lodge for two nights. The ‘Nest’ was clean, comfortable & cosy warm. With all you could wish for on a short self catering break. The accommodation was great value. Set in the landscaped grounds with ‘nature walk’ style footpaths, outdoor seating, fire pits & some lakes at the top of the site. There’s even a little onsite cafe bar ‘The Hayshed’ . We found all the staff we encountered to be polite, courteous & professional. Thank you for creating such a lovely environment to stay. We look forward to a return visit, whilst exploring further walks in the area.

We stayed in 'The Nest' which is described as 'the most tranquil and romantic spot to watch the sun go down over the hills' which it sadly is not, far from it to be honest! It faces the carparking for the motor homes so you open your curtains to be faced with motor homes and their occupiers looking back at you. It is also next to the kids swing set. Not romantic or tranquil as we were expecting. 😒 The Nest itself was a lot more tired looking that i expected too, marks on the walls and dirty curtains.. I wouldn't recommend staying here, which is a shame as the site itself is nice in terms of the grounds/outdoor space.

Arrived with motorhome. 5 pitches at the top of the site, not particularly level but coped with the ramps. Clean and efficient showers and loos. Visited in May, was given a menu, said closes 7.30pm but went to place order to be told the lady was leaving at 6. We choose sites that have some food available on site as first night one does not always want to start cooking. We stayed here as we have family in the area and were visiting from Spain but wouldn't choose otherwise. Apparenty busy at weekends.

I needed a few days time out so decided to give Rossendale Holiday Cottages a try. I have a motorhome and booked 3 nights on their motorhome pitches. The place is a real gem and was very pleased to have found it. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly. I tried the fishing ponds and was pleasantly surprised how many fish I caught. Will definately be back

We had the most beautiful escape at Rossendale. We stayed in Rose, it was clean, check in was swift (after a long journey). The young man in reception was a delight! As was the beer and chocolate brownies! Facilities are great. No complaints at all from us. Great value for money! We hope to visit again soon

Unclean, rude staff who try and bribe you for positive review, hot tub maintenance sub-par Much better alternatives for the price, Aphrodite’s are absolutely perfect and blow this place out of the water, not bad for a quick basic stay if you’re local though.
