A wonderful location. The service was brillant. If yku need a nice quiet retreat with amazing views book this hotel.

The website shows it in a better light than reality, however it is work in progress and they have plans to get it better. Breakfast was the best bit, room was ok but cobwebs let it down. We were put in a room further away then the nearest wetherspoons toilet and think we were the only ones stopping that night. Up and down a lot of steps and corridors lead us to a quaint room above staff accommodation i think as they were talking below us into the small hours. It certainly doesn't suffer from the usual pub issue of drinkers keeping you up late as the bar closes at 9pm sharp and thats that for the night. This maybe fixed if they get some more staff so the existing couple dont have to work from 8am breakfast till late. Beers were good, until the bar shut then its a long quiet night . Fantastic views out in the beer garden / camper park I would go again, take a camper to sleep in and some bottles for when the bar closed. Maybe some tea on the way first at the menu was a bit limited and basic but they promised a new summer menu coming soon which would be good to see Im sure it will get better in time, its a super place with exceptional views.

Stayed for three nights in May with friends. Lovely spacious room which was spotlessly clean with everything you would need for a short stay. Stunning views along the valley in front of the hotel. Lots of local places to visit with good walks from the hotel doorstep. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was superb. The staff were all wonderful and really went out of their way to please, nothing was too much trouble, they even went out of their way to provide special requests for the dinner menu. We have stayed in this hotel several times before and never been disappointed. Thanks to all the team for a wonderful stay.

This was a real find. We’re walking the Coast2Coast and had a night of perfect luxury here. Our room was dual aspect: two stunning views of the grounds and moors beyond. Bed was extremely comfortable, room was spacious and light, breakfast was the best we’ve had - really great. And Ian went out of his way to give us lifts to and from the C2C route, even when a road was closed. We may not walk the C2C again, but we plan to return here.

We were a group of three couples returning to Sevenford for a short break. Bedrooms are large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with superb views. Guest lounge is fantastic for a pre and post dinner gathering in front of the open fire. Breakfast is fabulous. Whenever we visit we always comment that this is the best b & b in Yorkshire.We certainly hope to return. Recommend the Hanging Stones walk. And last but by no means least you couldn't wish for better hosts than Ian and Linda who are both so helpful, knowledgeable of the local area and friendly.

Stopped for lunch - great selection of beers and food - but if you fancy a sharing board / platter( rather than a sandwich)- wow the best we’ve ever had!! Staff were so lovely , helpful and service eight a smile too ! What more could you ask for ! Don’t hesitate to stop off here
