We really thought we'd enjoy our stay at the Hampton Inn in Roseburg. It is a newer property. However, they have a horrible ventilation system: it is right inside the door of the room, and blasts the room with ice cold air 24/7. You cannot turn it off, turn it down, etc. I was FREEZING the first night we stayed there. I asked about the cold air at the front desk the next morning: "oh, that's our ventilation system, there's nothing we can do about it". We got extra blankets. It was still uncomfortable the second night. As we were checking out, I again mentioned the freezing cold air blasting us. This employee grimaced, then again said "yes, we can't do anything about the ventilation system". Obviously we are not the only guests who have complained. They just won't do anything about it! HVAC systems can be adjusted! Get to work! This is a hotel that has a " 100% happy" guarantee. Well, I guarantee that I paid a lot of money to be too cold and NOT HAPPY. And they did nothing to make me happy!
