The Coachmans Inn

Stayed here while on a flying visit to Roscommon last weekend. Excellent hospitality, everywhere spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, super shower, delicious cooked to order breakfast with excellent service by mature staff. Beautiful modern restaurant out back with an old worldy bar to the front- great pint of Guinness too and fab coffee.

Stayed here last Friday night to catch up with old friends. First time staying here. Beautiful rooms. Freshly decorated and extremely clean. Had a few drinks in the bar then went for dinner in the restaurant out back. I was blown away by the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food. We had intended on going out after the meal but instead went back to the bar for the live music. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and cannot recommend it enough. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here whilst at a wedding in Roscommon. The team were so helpful as we booked last minute and did not arrive until VERY late to check in. They accommodated us with no bother. Clean room, comfy bed and really good breakfast the next morning. Will stay here again when we are back in town.

I cannot understand why this place is getting such good reviews. Ok, the rooms are refurbished very nicely but you need a service for a place to work. There is no dedicated place to check in so I was standing at the bar waiting while the staff dealt with a very busy Father's day lunch. The staff work hard but they are bar and serving staff. The accommodation side seems to be forgotten about. I eventually checked in and was given a key to a room which wasn't ready. I went back down to the bar again and was given another key to another room which also wasn't ready. The third room was ready but I soon discovered it didn't have a window to the outside world. There is a frosted glass window onto a corridor! So you have to have the light on at all times to see. Also no fresh air into the room except through a window in the bathroom which wouldn't close or lock and had a flat roof outside it for easy access for any intruder. Also there was no shampoo/soap in the shower, no hair dryer, no glass for water and a shower that I couldn't regulate. Most importantly, nobody to talk to about issues except a phone number on the door key. Also, there is no car parking although the place advertises parking. Its street parking or a public car park up the road. This should be noted.

Recently celebrated a friends party in the Coachmans the staff were so helpful from start to finish and couldn't have done more to make it special. We had a fantastic meal first which was absolutely delicious and extremely well priced. The dinner table was decorated lovely. Waiting staff were excellent 👌 could not fault one single thing. After dinner we moved to a reserved area in the bar and enjoyed drinks and Fantastic cocktails 🍸. The bar staff were fantastic and could remember the round each time we went to the bar (there was about 15/20 drinks in the round) tables were cleared regularly and there was live music which was great. We stayed in the rooms upstairs which are decorated to a very high standard and were immaculate we had a fantastic breakfast the next morning. Would definitely recommend a trip to this gem for a function, night out and an overnight stay. Keep up the great work

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend. The hotel has a very fine pub and a very good restaurant. The rooms are fresh and modern and cleanliness is exceptional, and staff was really great!! We missed some amenities in the bathroom. Highly recommend and we will return
