Perfect base for exploring Isle of Wight. The central location meant everywhere was an easy drive away. A typical caravan style holiday park but the riverside lodge we can had definitely lifted it to a more luxurious experience. Facilities are a good example of what you would expect on a holiday park. Indoor and outdoor pools were a lovely treat. There was entertainment if you wanted, plenty of arcade games for our children to spend their holiday money on. Drinks seemed very expensive and we didn't try the food, but with so many options around the island and great cooking facilities in the lodge it was not an issue for us. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Two weeks here just flew by.

Don’t take your family to this dump, I’ve visited here before with my young family and it was such a good holiday and everything was well looked after but i returned this year and it’s become a dump, I paid for a luxury cottage and it was far from luxury everything was battered or broken and what was broken had been replaced with a very cheap alternative, I spoke to one of the maintenance team who quickly told me the truth of what was going on in that no money has been given for maintenance for over two years and he was embarrassed by the state of the place and said all the cottages should have been upgraded years ago, also the club house is just an over priced dump with road work barriers and broken parasol’s left laying about the table and chairs are only fit for filling skip it really is that bad. The pictures you see on their website are very misleading and I’m sure they’re breaking an advertising rule with how it looks now. The bar decking really needs condemning because the joists are rotten, and the swimming pool is filthy. Don’t take your family here because it seems Away Resorts gave up with this place years ago, I paid a lot of money to stay at this dump don’t make the mistake I did

We booked a superior caravan 3 night stay for 3 adults and a dog. We did not know what to expect. It was so good! The caravan was very clean and very comfortable including the beds. It was great having central heating, so cosy!! There were a couple of minor issues which were efficiently dealt with straight away. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The security man and the maintenance manager were really helpful when our vehicle had a problem. The whole site was well maintained. The doggie welcome pack was greatly appreciated!! All in all a great stay - we have booked a return visit.

Arrived for a 5 night stay for my nieces wedding. The park itself is great and I really liked the vibe, even out of high season. We checked in and went to our Lakehouse. The accommodation itself was brilliant. Plenty of room and it was a nice looking place. The beds were fine for 5nights but a little hard. I do think the cleaning could be a little better. My socks were filthy after walking on the floor and the bathrooms had a damp smell. The towels never dried and things just smelt damp. I realise it is out of season and the price we paid was amazing so certainly wouldn’t have expected 5* accommodation, however I do think no matter what you have paid, it should be clean. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and I would have a lakehouse again. I wouldn’t, however, pay high season prices personally. We looked for next August when we got back but definitely wouldn’t be paying the prices it said.

We stayed in a lake house for three nights, there are good and bad things about the park. Location, very central so easy to get to anywhere on the Isle. The lake house was lovely apart from a few issues. There was a musty smell constantly which was unpleasant at times. The cleanliness wasn’t too bad, more that everything needs refreshed. The bed was a great size but so uncomfortable. It was so hard and the pillows were soft with no support. The most annoying thing was no WiFi or even 4G. For a park that is advertised as being modern and future driven you would expect WiFi. The app which they highlight you to use leading up the stay can’t be used without WiFi!! When asking the staff even they seem embarrassed by no WiFi around the park, it’s only in the club house. Would we stay again probably not, when paying for a holiday in what they deem as luxury accommodation, you expect luxury not just above basic.

Been here three times before, last time in the most amazing lodge ! This time, 4th time, will be the last time. Had a terrible year, recovering from cancer and desperately needed some relaxing time away. Spent my first afternoon here mopping the floors, cleaning the woodwork and all the other mundane household chores that I thought I'd left behind. No welcome packs anymore but you do get dishwashing products. After travelling hours I want to have a cuppa, not wash the dishes ! Hot tub lid is broken and hanging in the water, blonde hairs everywhere, even in the oven. Cobwebs, dirt, stains on the chairs so we've covered with towels. So disappointed, not sure what's happened but standards have definitely dropped.

Indulgent Island Bungalow Accommodation was lovely, homely and clean. It had everything we needed, imc full size fridge /freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Shower was powerful and water hot. Unfortunately, the entertainment ended on the Sunday (we went Sat to Thursday), however, it didn't really matter to us as we were our most evenings either dining or driving around.

I arrived on Saturday 28th June 2024, dropped off suitcase, fund it surprising not to have anywhere to store my case , but this was just the start , so wished i had trusted my gut instincts I had, on opening up what was supposed to be a Luxury or Indulgent island cottage no.34 the place stunk and flooring was dirty, marks on doors dust along skirting, room hot and stuffy with all curtains left open , condensation on patio doors. Sofa was all badly torn and looked dirty, i also had difficulty in locking and unlocking the door, i rang the Reception desk and they sent down a Bolshy rude security guy called Ian and a lady with blonde hair came with him but did not speak when i said it was smelly he had the answer for everything, one reply was if it was smelly he would smell it as he had a sensitive nose, and apparently the flooring always looks like this, and marks on doors are guests fault!!! etc it went on, I clearly stated that i disagreed with of it but i was so tired i would have slept in a hay barn, so wish i had now as i discovered more filth!!! Dried blood on duvet Theirs NOT MINE, NO Mattress Protector, Stained and lumpy mattress, filthy dirty skirtings all around and windows . On actually finding a Manager on the Monday 1st July to complain to , Mark was affable and found me another property which still wasn't what it proclaims to be as luxury , but it appeared cleaner in most instances, apart from grumpy torn sofa, and flaking paint coming of the kitchen sink plug hole. Unfortunately when i viewed no. 29 it had no parking nearby but Mark said he would do me a note to put in car and that i could park just at end of properties but keep path clear which i said fine, on returning and only parking my car near property on 1st July i got questioned by a women called Elaine( which later no one seemed to know!!! funny that she left me a rude note posted through my door then!!) she proclaimed to be off duty staff and then had yet another run in from Bolshy , Arrogant Security guy called Ian , shouting at me saying i couldn't park my car there just as i was unloading my car , i was very distressed and told them i felt bullied by this , it was in one sentence " THE HOLIDAY FROM HELL". AVOID, AVOID , AVOID AT ALL COST , THIS PLACE NEEDS CONDEMNING NOT JUST FOR NOT BEING BASICALLY CLEAN BUT STAFF BAD ATTITUDE ( apart from Mark the Manager, although no payment was made to me for this Inconvenience that had occurred although he said he would sort for me) AND MANNERS - NOTHING LIKE WHAT THEY PROCLAIM TO BE. AS FOR UNDER MANAGER GEMMA , She even went and told their other Site WHITECLIFF BAY not to allow me to stay there !! as Im obviously trouble being

Wish I could put 0 stars. Absolutely disgusting place. Despite saying it would, we had no parking space next to our house when all others did, so we parked on the side of the road a fair walk away. The lodge was dusty, had loads of cobwebs and was FILLED with spiders! We called reception twice and had two of our party walk up on two separate occasions to ask for a hoover so we could clean the place ourselves and we got nothing for over an hour and a half. It was dirty enough that we didn’t want to unpack or move around without cleaning so this time was wasted sat in the kitchen waiting for them. Many members of our party were reduced to tears within the first few hours because of the dirtiness of the place and the unhelpfulness/ boarding on rudeness of the staff. We also came to find out there is no WiFi, also despite saying there would be on website. Clearly in this area there is bad connection as well, which means we couldn’t even access our 4G/ 3G either. No access to internet what so ever! Really bad considering this was a multi generational holiday (grandparents, parents and adult children), we had hoped to play some games together and watch some of our favourite childhood/ family films and we couldn’t. Could barely even send a simple message to a friend on iMessage. After this awful first day we got to bed and the fire alarm went off… repeatedly. Long story short we found out it was being set off by the shocking amount of spiders in the system. This is the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in in my entire life.
