"I realize that different people have different opinions to the same experiences. I found the room to be very clean and the breakfast to be good. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get into my room when I arrived. There were lots of people in the lobby who were waiting for rooms to be cleaned. All in all, I had a pleasant stay at the hotel."

"This hotel is great for it's proximity to Tampa airport. The shuttle service is free and easy to find within the airport too. We arrived later in the evening and I think a few things had been going on in the hotel (or with guests) as the reception staff were a little preoccupied and not as friendly as we'd expected, but it was fine, we got into our room which was a good size, clean and we had a view of Tampa airport runways. We could hear the odd plane take off / land, but the sound did not bother us. The weather had dropped and wasn't great the weekend we stayed so we didn't get a chance to try out the small pool. World of Beer is next door (walking) - this was great to go to for a burger in the evening as it didn't look like the hotel did food other than breakfast. Breakfast was buffet style with a few hot items (they were lukewarm) which changed over the couple of days we were there. The waffles were great! The only downside to breakfast was that it was paper plates and plastic cutlery, but the food itself was nice. The coffee pots were available all the time in the hotel, not just at breakfast - this was great to grab a quick fix anytime. If I needed a hotel for the airport I would stay here again or if I had access to a car, but we did not have a car, and Lyft / Uber's in and out of downtown Tampa could become expensive if you did that a couple of times a day. We stayed here before getting on our Carnival Cruise from Channelside, Tampa. If we came again to cruise, I'd probably pay the extra and stay in downtown to be closer, but if we had a car to travel around, I'd definitely stay at the Hampton Inn, Avion Park as it was in a great location to tour from."

"I stayed overnight ahead of a cruise vacation. The hotel was clean, room and bathroom were spacious and well set up. I was able to walk across the parking lot to the Chipotle for dinner, though chose to bring it back to the hotel as it didn't seem like a place I'd want to sit and eat. As soon as I picked up my luggage at the airport, I called the direct hotel line and requested their free shuttle - they arrived in under 5 minutes!. The hotel then put me on a list to take the shuttle to the cruise port the next morning. That trip cost $10 per person one way, and the driver allowed passengers to book a $20 round trip ticket which would at the end of the cruise, either take you back to the hotel or straight to the airport. I found it really easy and convenient, and far less expensive than the cruise ship transfer or an uber/taxi. Their shuttle service was really easy to find at the end of the cruise and took me directly to the airport. Breakfast at the hotel had the usual assortment of hot and cold selections, I would say above average for hotel breakfast. I would return here in the future!"

"Hotel service is very good, and there is free breakfast, breakfast is also very rich, there are many types, usually there are free coffee, ice cream, the hall and some toys for children, room facilities are full, there are microwave and refrigerator, great"

"Hotel Haya is an an amazing hotel located in he heart of Tampa’s Ybor City Historic and Entertainment District just minutes and blocks from downtown and the best airport in the world. The coffee shop has the best café con leche of any place in Tampa, the Flor Fina restaurant has a wonderful menu that serves the best lunch and dinner in Tampa. And you cannot meet a friendlier and accommodating staff from the valet to the front desk to the waiters and waitresses and bartenders and even the people who clean your rooms!"

"I am so happy for the staff named YUNI, she made my stay more memorable, i cant express how she helped me a lot!.. as a seafarer who paid all the expenses from work-break, its hard! But, she give the most discount she could to minimize the expenses, she even bring me to eat breakfast before i join the ship.. thumbs up to you! Keep up the excellent job!!!
