"a-na-lay has a great location, a great clean beach, good opportunities for snorkeling (from the beach). Breakfast was very good, as was the food. We had a bungalow with a garden view -- forgettable. Not recommended. No closet, no coat hangers. We lived out of the travel bag, which was on the floor. Flashlight required for the last 10 m!!"

"This hotel is perfect for this island. Everything was beautiful. We had a slight hiccup at the check-in, but manager Vince settled the issue in a very professional way. He was kind and he listened and acted accordingly. I really appreciated that. They do have the best bar in the island with the most attentive bartenders. The drinks was so pretty and delicious. I strongly recommend this hotel I know I will come back."

"I like it very much. All the staff are lovely. The rooms are private bungalows. Not a very long walk from the reception. The equipment in the room is complete except the TV that is old. Completely complete, no need to go anywhere Sleep, eat, swim, watch the sunset Next to the sea, very beautiful Overall overall 9/10. This trip took my mother to an impressive vacation."

"Pros of the hotel: Beautiful beach, clear sea, magnificent sunsets, nice bar with delicious cocktails during happy hour for 160 baht, beautiful pier for photos On the territory you can rent a bike without deposits, etc. They accept card payments (+3% to the bill) Cons of the hotel: Tired, ugly bungalows Broken furniture Torn, gray towels and bed linen Untasteful and expensive restaurant Breakfast is not very good, you will not go hungry, but you will not get pleasure either. And you need to come early, once we came at 9.30, some dishes were already gone and were not replenished Ugly territory of the hotel"

"The wCham’s house is a wonderful place , very well located on great beach … But … the staff doesn’t speak very well English ( apart from the responsable persons in every service) . But gettinginformation at the reception is very difficult and getting g the right info at the restaurant ( apart from the menu) is also not possible. The management should really invest in English courses for their staff , as well as invest in the maintenance ( very , very poor) . It looks like that after the pandemic, the owners of Cham’s house want to earn a maximum of money , without investing.. it’s a pity that this wonderful place is loosing it’s glamour .."

"We have just spent a wonderful 5 days here and it was a blissfully peaceful and tranquil stay. At first we were a little unsure about how remote and cut off it seemed but within a very short time, we had completely forgotten about the outside world. Shantaa resort had everything you could need for a truly relaxing stay. The villas are super comfortable, spotlessly clean and set in lovely gardens which roll down to the sea. The bathroom is an outdoor room which has its own pretty little tropical garden feature. Everything is tastefully furnished, the beds are very comfortable and everything is kept lovely and clean. The outside terrace has beanbag sofas which are great for lounging on. The pool area is great, nice beds and plenty of towels and bottled water available. The restaurant serves an à la carte breakfast which was really lovely. A lot of thought and effort goes into how the food and drink is made and presented. There is an extensive dinner menu and all the meals we took were of an excellent standard and really very inexpensive. The cafe, which has a lovely setting by the sea, serves lunches and drinks throughout the day and everything we ordered was super fresh and of a very high standard. All in all, a wonderful stay, we felt we had been on a health retreat!"

"Starting with the positives, Tolani resort has really friendly staff who bent over backwards to make your stay pleasant. It also has beautiful rooms our bungalow was clean and comfortable with good aircon and a very comfortable bed. It gave a feeling of luxury though the water pressure in the shower was really bad. It’s outside of the rooms that this resort falls flat. Tolani is positioning itself as a luxury resort and with a high price point to match but for the money it doesn’t deliver. The resort is supposedly on the beach but in reality the beach is not easily accessible from the resort. You can climb over rocks and swim over to the beach but it’s not easy. This means you will not have any sun loungers on the beach which can be an issue as the pool area is very small with only a handful of beds there. It’s also what you want from a beach front resort. The food at the resort including breakfast is very poor but very expensive. Thankfully there are great restaurants nearby but we didn’t have a single good meal here. Drinks and food are massively overpriced for the island too. We also had a poor experience at checkout. We had given our scooter back to the hire place but needed to head to the shops and so my wife asked if it was possible to get a taxi. A kind member of staff offered to run her up the road quickly in their car which we assumed was just a kind gesture. On checkout they charged us 15 euros for this trip. That’s an outrageous price for a 5 minute ride down the road but it also wasn’t communicated to us that we would be charged at the time as we wouldn’t have agreed. When we challenged this they told us we had to pay. It left a really bad taste in the mouth and it showcased this place is mainly looking to make money off its guests and not about creating a good experience. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here because there are better resorts for the price point and the food and facilities are both sorely lacking. The lovely staff are not enough to save the price gouging happening here."

"A beautiful hotel, a good location next to the pier. There is a beach with sand and stones. You can see fish. A great restaurant and beautiful villas with sea view and palm trees. You can have a good rest. But this hotel loves families with breast-feeding children. You will have breakfast, sunshine and enjoy sunset for dinner under the cry and the cry of the children"

"I had an amazing time during my stay at Tinkerbell. The atmosphere was so peaceful. If you’re looking for a place to relax and not crowded, Tinkerbell is definitely a choice. The food was great. Plus, there is a kayak free for in-house guests. The guard will take care of you if you want to go kayaking."
