I traveled alone because I had a headache, but the pension owner has no sense. I saw a room assigned without thinking so that it was easy to manage the staff. The sashimi was enjoyable even cold, but the steak that followed was completely cold, which was really disappointing. It seemed the delay in serving the steak was due to the staff attending to new check-ins, but I would have expected them to at least check the food temperature. Even the dessert sherbet was so frozen I had to chip away at it instead of scooping it smoothly. This was supposed to be a gourmet and relaxing trip with my mom. Overall, I was satisfied, but these small details were a letdown, as true satisfaction often comes from the details. The incense and tea, however, were excellent."
