Among all the Anantara hotels I've experienced, both domestically and internationally, this one offers a more budget-friendly price point. The hotel shows its age in minor ways – like the worn edges of the wooden hangers – but as long as the service quality remains high, it's perfectly acceptable. 2. I'd highly recommend staying 2-3 days, as the hotel boasts a fantastic array of activities. There are indoor and outdoor pools, batik painting, garden movie nights, bonfire singing and dancing, plant 'mystery boxes,' and even opportunities for photoshoots in traditional ethnic attire. Our children were absolutely thrilled and entertained throughout our stay. 3. The hotel thoughtfully provided children's amenities. The twin beds in our room were surprisingly spacious, comfortably accommodating one adult and one child on each. A clever batik screen design greets you right inside the door. Since we had two adjoining rooms and the kids were constantly moving between them, this screen was brilliant, allowing us to keep the doors wide open without sacrificing privacy. 4. From our two poolside view rooms, all we could see beyond the balcony were lush trees and the courtyard below. However, given the abundance of activities, we didn't spend much time in the room anyway, so it wasn't a major issue."
