The apartment is spacious, however it has little natural light, as it only has one window facing the street in the bedroom. At night the lighting is poor, very poor. The bed has a spring mattress that resonates when you move on it: super uncomfortable. The worst of all is that hot water for showering lasts no more than 15/20 minutes, so the second person to shower always does so with cold water. That was terrible for us. To go to the bathroom you go through the kitchen, which is well equipped, although it is tiny, and with very wasted space. We felt so bad that we decided to go to a hotel the day before, just to have a decent bathroom. Its only advantage is the location, very close to the Colosseum, the Palatine and the Roman Forum, which can be reached on foot in a few minutes.

Mind you, the apartment looked extremely better in the photos. Certainly no disaster, but it was advertised as a 4 star and in reality it was a poor 3.... clean in truth, but with too many details that smack of neglect. Dated furnishings and equipment, shower cubicle with curtain, linear washbasin... in short, it really needs a bit of maintenance. Furthermore, there would also be a need for a touch of professionalism training for the factotum, who in the lift looked haughtily at my dog (a splendid example of a Caninchen-sized German dachshund who speaks 4 languages...) and then asked me : IS THE DOG CLEAN?.... Well... yes. The dog was very clean.... the elevator less so.

The location is perfect! The apartment is large but the cleanliness leaves a little to be desired... there were 6 of us: 2 comfortable double beds but the sofa bed was terrible! Slats outside the guides annoyed over the guides and crossed... pain and a sleepless night insured 😭

Dico solo che dalle finestre si poteva quasi toccare il Colle Palatino, da dove la Storia di Roma è partita... L'appartamento è comodo ed accogliente; al terzo piano si apprezza l'ascensore. La zona, benché centralissima ("dietro" il Campidoglio può bastare?) è silenziosissima: non si direbbe di essere nell'ombelico dell'Urbe. Ottimo.
