It's in a very good location. Although it was a hot summer, the air conditioning worked really well and I was able to have a comfortable and cool time. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is delicious, and I know several hotels in Rome, but none are as good as this one at this price. I don't understand the negative reviews and the low ratings. It's so underrated.

I spent two days at the Des Epoques hotel and was truly amazed by the interior of the place. It is an old hotel in the middle of Rome with a beautiful classic-style breakfast room. The administrator was polite and helpful, so I want to recommend this place. However, the hotel is a little overpriced.

3 minuty temu na stronie Google Po przybyciu do hotelu około 22.00 podczas zameldowania przedstawiono nam tabliczkę z długim tekstem i poinformowano, że mamy opłacić podatek w wysokości 6€ za osobę za noc. Byliśmy z dzieckiem, zapłaciliśmy łącznie 36€. Rozumiem istnienie podatków miejskich, ale w trakcie rezerwacji przez portal noclegowy agoda miałam zapewnienie, że kwota rezerwacji obejmuje już wszystko. Pokój był dość ładny ale trochę zaniedbany. W pokoju, który nie miał zbyt przyjemnego zapachu nie było okna, z którego możnaby spojrzeć choć na kawałek nieba. Okno było za to w łazience z widokiem na oddaloną od niego kilkadziesiąt centymetrów ścianę. Ponadto grzejniki elektryczne w łazience nie były efektywne. Łazienka była po remoncie.

This hotel is beautiful but a little tired however that doesn’t take away from its charm. The room was cleaned daily, staff were very friendly and helpful and lots of choice for breakfast. Do get down early for breakfast to enjoy it hot. The room has old fashioned charm and is grand if a little dated but frankly I prefer the character when visiting a new country. Plenty of hot water and the option of a bath or a shower. The bus can be caught just outside and the 60 or the 62 will get you to most of the sights you will want to see. As you come out of the hotel turn left and just down the road is a lovely place to eat which isn’t over priced. Turn right as you come out and just up the road is the Tobacco shop to buy your bus tickets. Make sure you get tickets as we saw lots of people being removed from the bus for not having a ticket and they take your passport details and fine you 50 euros 😱 If you come out of the tobacco shop and turn right and follow the road around there is an amazing ice cream shop just down the road. On the corner up from the hotel is a pizza takeaway, also delicious. I don’t think I’ll be back to Rome but if I were to visit I’d stay here again. I will be sad to leave in the morning x

Hotel is old and traditional, but we liked that. Our room was upgraded due to requesting a bath, the reception staff were super helpful and accommodating, advising which buses to catch etc. Room was clean. Bus stop right outside to all attractions so very convenient. We will definitely return.

Hotel molto particolare con arredamento retro stile barocco super pacchiano.Molto bello con decorazioni poltrone letti lampadari statue e finiture tutte dorate Stanza piccola ma molto accogliente e bagno interamente rivestito di pregiati marmi.Un hotel con arredamenti retrò.Sicuramente nei primi anni 2000 era il fiore all'occhiello.Pulito e con buona colazione.Al Nomentano il miglior quartiere di Roma.
