Nice service, very clean

The location is excellent. staff are very helpful and kind. The shared washrooms are big but some of them having issue with the cleaning. beds and rooms are good. I'm happy with my stay

I had a disappointing stay at Freedom Hostel in Rome. The cleanliness was subpar, with noticeable issues throughout the hostel. The air conditioning was not working, making the room uncomfortable, especially during the hot summer nights. Additionally, the bathrooms had a bad smell, which was quite off-putting. The only positive aspect was the location, which is conveniently situated for exploring Rome. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Freedom Hostel due to the significant issues with cleanliness, air conditioning, and bathroom maintenance.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. We forgot a bag at a cafeteria near the hostel and when we make contact they came there immediately to take and keep it safe for us till we came back. Much appreciate that. The location was great. Near all the train, metro and bus station. Neighborhood is very quiet too. Highly recommend.

Really bad living environment and no kitchen there with nothing equipment The staff are not friendly and helpful

There is a kitchen and you can use plates, cutlery, pots, etc. There are some seasonings, but I don't know if they are okay to use. There is also free wine. You can leave your luggage both before and after check-in, but it is not managed, so you need a lock to prevent theft. It is a hassle to have three types of locks: for the elevator, the doors on each floor, and the guest rooms.

Reception is easy, and you can leave your luggage in a small storage room if you haven't checked in yet. The kitchen is lightly equipped but has all the essentials. It has a very pleasant little garden (surrounded by buildings, of course), but the best thing is that it's next to a convenience store and Termini Station, a very central Rome metro station that takes you directly to the airport. From Fiumicino Airport, you can reach the hotel by train in 25 minutes. Some rooms also have private, very nice bathrooms.

The owner was kind and when I said "I'm not very good at English," he explained everything slowly and carefully. There are three locks, so I don't think there's any need to worry about room security. However, there is a locker in the room for valuables, but you have to bring your own padlock. I think it's better to bring a padlock for the locker to feel safe.
