Sylvan Lake House 5-BR 4-BA Full Kit., 2 Pier spaces

The house was very nice, as was the view from the deck, and the rooms were quiet. We enjoyed the large kitchen and refrigerator. When we had a problem and contacted the host, the response was quick and professional. However, the parking situation with only 2 slots was not ideal at all. For a house with that much occupancy, you have to assume there will be more cars. We are all older, some with difficulty walking and this should have been mentioned in the initial description of the rental. (We managed to work it out fortunately) Also, one of the lots that was supposed to be open for overflow cars was not. The path to the front door is steeper than expected and it is not lit at night, so it was difficult for our visually impaired group member.

Relaxing lake stay The house was wonderful and very well stocked. The abundance of bedrooms and full bathrooms were great for our large group. We took the kayaks out several times and enjoyed s’mores in the fire pit. Howard was very responsive to messages. We decided to rent the pontoon and did have fun cruising the lake. However, the condition of the pontoon was rather rough with many seat holes covered in duct tape. Not sure if I’d do that part again, but everything else was awesome.

Family Celebration The house accommodated our 11 family members out of the area to stay comfortably and be able to visit with other family members living in the area. We all gathered to be together to celebrate a high school graduation and Open House as well as a surprise 25th wedding anniversary party at Sylvan Cellars. The house was well supplied for meeting all our needs. The ceilings on the first floor were low, so for people over 6'5" need to duct heads a lot, but we managed.
