Ramada by Wyndham Rome/Verona

Our experience was extremely limited because we only stayed long enough to book a room in another hotel. The place looked abandoned when we arrived with a FOR LEASE sign on the building window so we weren’t even sure they were opened (Room was already booked at that point). The photographs of the hotel must have been from a different site because the inside/outside looked nothing like we saw on their website. We reluctantly checked in, drove around to where we were instructed to park (only to find 1 other vehicle besides us in the whole place) during a very busy race weekend (Triathlon & Boilermaker run race). The smell of garbage outside the building was overwhelming as we entered. When we got into our room it was like 90 degrees (and it was already 90 degrees outside that day). We were afraid to sit anywhere because one of the upholstered chairs had something that had spilled on it (it looked like candle wax but we’ll leave it at that). We immediately decided we could not stay here and thankfully found a room in another hotel close by. We are Wyndham reward members and are extremely disappointed that this facility is branded as a Ramada Inn. We would have expected much better than this!! While we are not planning to abandon Ramada we will be more cautious before future bookings. 0 star (motel)!
