OYO Hotel Rome West GA

The staff are so excellent and friendly but the property is a little rundown but it’s convenient!

First thing when you walk in people loud in the lobby kids running everywhere staff was nice the elevator inspection date was expired it sounded like it would break at any minute room was okay floor had stains and one of hair towels had dirty in it and the shower had hair in it

Safe and quiet place

I did not check in. I drove to the place and people were hanging out everywhere. Several groups. Did not feel safe to even get out of car. Rented another room in another motel.

Avoid this place Police on property often. Halls were nasty and needed vacuuming. Elevator did not work. Seemed to be alot of people living out of the hotel. Rooms were ok but had stained carpet and dirty walls.

OYO Hotel is a nightmare! I arrived at the very delapidated OYO Hotel. The overwhelming odor of smoke and musty filth was heavy in the air when entering the building. There appeared to be homeless people in the lobby area. I asked to tour the hotel and my room prior to checking in. There were garbage bags and mattresses left in the halway on the way to the room. There were dirty handprints with built up debris on the walls throughout the hotel. Upon entering my room the smell of urine, smoke, and stagnant who knows what else was even stronger. The carpet was unvaccummed in the hallways and the room, the sheets were not changed, the toilet was not flushed. I told the front desk that this was not the advertised condition of the hotel I agreed to stay at and I would not be staying there. I paid to stay at the Quality Inn down the street instead, it was very nice and clean there. The link to upload photos is not working.
