We had a wonderful time at this villa. We initially had a health issue that they assisted with and were very kind and helpful. They were so concerned and glad to see that the health issue was fine. The property is absolutely stunning in a natural setting. Located in a lovely little town. Service at the pool was excellent and restaurant was very good. They also provided a list of restaurants that were great. We had such a great time that we extended our stay and spent two weeks at the villa. All of the staff were excellent. We loved our stay and will be returning next summer. A great hotel with natural beauty and lovely service!!

The hotel has history and charm, but it is woefully in need of consistent quality, which seems to escape them. Last year, we had a room in which the shower didn't drain and would flood the floor. They moved us, which helped us, but I also overheard other guests complain about ineadequate air conditioning in their rooms. This year, the extra bed they put in our room COLLAPSED. I looked and could see the bed leg quality was cheap. The legs had no cross bracing support and were held on by a crimped on weak clip. Any lateral movement could cause the legs to give way. It wad midnight and they wanted to move us to another room. I stated my daughters were sleeping, so the night manager brought up another cheesy bed, and I used it but slept with one eye open, so to speak till morning. Though the staff has polite and helpful, overall, I felt they did not value us and other as guests (they credited us for the extra bed charge), but I won't return.

Ein stilvolles Gebäude, liebevoll und zum Teil sehr aufwendig restauriert, aber mit Mängeln im Detail. Bei der Sauberkeit und dem technischen Zustand darf man nicht zu genau hinsehen, aber dies wird durch die authentische Atmosphäre wettgemacht. Das parkähnlich angelegte Aussengelände ist bemerkenswert, ebenso die Haupthalle, die Downton-Abbey-Gefühle vermittelt. Wirklich spektakulär. Zu kritisieren sind der saloppe Zimmerservice,das unambitionierte Frühstück und das Hotelrestaurant, was nur ein Menü ohne Auswahl hat und wo der formulierte Anspruch, Leistung und Preis nicht zusammenpassen. Hier kann ich nur jedem empfehlen, in das fussläufig nah gelegene Restaurant „Casa del Conte“ im Ort zu gehen, was bei günstigeren Preisniveau eine ganz andere Qualität bietet. Schließlich und zuletzt schließe ich mich der Kritik an den hohen Preisen für Getränke im Pool- und Aussenbereich an, nicht nur, dass man das Servicepersonal in der Regel suchen muss, sondern auch Preise von 12 € für einen Aperol Sprizz und 7 € für eine kleine Flasche lokal produziertes Bier sind ganz schön happig. Trotz aller Kritik: einzigartiges Ambiente, deshalb eine Empfehlung wert !

Siamo stati in questa dimora storica molto bella con parcheggio interno e possibilità di caricare veicoli elettrici. Purtroppo si nota la difficoltà nel mantenerla, ma lo stato di pulizia era precario, in particolare il bagno. Peccato avrebbe un gran potenziale.

Ein wunderschönes altes Anwesen, hier kann man wie ein Land Lord leben. Wir sind zum Radfahren hier. Das Hotel hat schöne Zimmer, auch ein Swimmingpool Pool, ein Restaurant und sehr nette Angestellte. Die Zimmer sind blitzsauber, die Betten sehr angenehm.

Abbiamo passato due notti in villa in una buona camera, anche grande, ma porta di accesso non perfettamente chiudibile, bagno bello, ma con un odore sgradevole proveniente dal wc. Parcheggio quasi inesistente (nel piccolissimo spazio all'ingresso della villa trovano posto 7 o 8 vetture).
