Doppelzimmer 204: sehr bequeme Boxspringbetten tolle Aussicht über Schladming und auf den Dachstein Bademäntel und Kaffeekapseln für Nespressomaschine (2 St./Tag) werden kostenlos gestellt Skibus Haltestelle unmittelbar vor dem Hotel, Abfahrten: 08:08 Uhr und 09:18 Uhr - Wermutstropfen: Frühstück erst ab 07:30 Uhr Frühstück sehr gut - frisches Obst, Wurst, regionaler Käse, ... Im eher kleinen Bad wurden die nicht verfließten Flächen mit dunkelblauer Farbe gestrichen, dadurch wirkt es noch enger und mindert die spärliche Beleuchtung noch zusätzlich. Ski in/out ist m.E. nur bei ausreichender Schneelage gegebnen. Man muss um zur Piste zu gelangen ca. 70 Meter über eine Wiese gehen. Im März waren der Boden/ die Wiese ab Mittags aufgetaut, somit versank man am Weg von/zur Piste knöcheltief im Morrast. In der Früh waren die tiefen Spuren des Vortags jedoch gefroren, was den Gang über die schräge/steile Wiese in Skischuhen inkl. Skiausrüstung nicht gerade einfach gestaltete. Nachdem die Schneemengen eher geringer werden, wäre hier die temporäre Errichtung eines Stegs wünschenswert.

Great breakfast, good sauna, free parking and close to both the center of Schladming (walking distance) and everything else (by car). Great hospitality and attention to detail. Would definitely recommend for anyone planning an active vacation in Schladming.

We were spontaneously looking for accommodation near Schladming and came across this hotel online. The website doesn't really reflect reality. The rooms are small, renovated, and clean, and generally OK. However, the hotel is located directly on a busy road, and it's impossible to sleep with the window open, with traffic noise until late into the night. Breakfast: Nothing was lacking, but we've rarely seen such a poorly designed buffet. Many items ran out, and you always had to point out what was missing. In summary, we felt like we were staying at a highway station. Very impersonal. I'm used to different things in this area, from simple bed and breakfasts to spa hotels—we were actually always very satisfied. We certainly won't be coming back, as the price-performance ratio is also more than inadequate. This is my first review, but I was very annoyed.

The reception was unmanned when we arrived. Only one room had been reserved instead of two. The entire hotel smelled of old frying oil! The rooms were so small and there was so little storage space that we had to leave some of our luggage on the balcony. One of the rooms was only available for one night, so we couldn't get back to it after skiing. The reception was again unmanned. The chambermaid helped us out. We couldn't redeem the voucher for the Tafelspitz restaurant because it no longer serves food by 8:00 p.m. Upon departure, we were only told that it would be better to make a reservation on Monday anyway. We didn't have this information because the reception was never staffed and no one actually welcomed us to the hotel. The excuse given was cost-effectiveness. However, if I charge €200 for a night in a double room outside of the season, I, as a guest, expect at least a greeting upon arrival and a reception that is staffed even after 5:00 p.m. It's also worth mentioning that the plastic cups in the spa area also smelled of old frying oil. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay, and we were glad we were only there for two nights.
