Most of the things in the restaurant are unavailable for examples drinks like water 😖😖😖n food Why to give a menu card..what is the use of it ???? No satisfaction at all I dont recommend people to go there specially mauritians … expensive food here ;) P abuse lor dimune

We came in a group of 3 persons.This place seems to be a paradise with its peaceful surroundings.The view from my room was amazing(sea view).Food , staff and ambiance were outstanding.Staffs were friendly, smiling and care for their customers. Surely we will come again to this wonderful place for our future stay in Rodrigues island.Big thanks to the team.See you soon for another stay.

We came to Rodrigues in a group of 7pax for a birthday celebration among friends. Few among us were first time visited but last time I've been to Rodrigues, I stayed at Cotton Bay hotel which is currently under renovation. Our trip was booked through Shamal Travels in Mauritius, who assured us to have ocean view balcony rooms and next to each other. However, upon our arrival at the hotel, the rooms we got were ground floor, and not all were together. The rooms assigned were DISGUSTING, NASTY AND SMELLING LIKE SEWAGE. My own room provided had broken cabinets, the tap snd shower was full of scales and rusty. The tables counter were sticky, AC was leaking and did not work for 2 days, cockroaches in the room. We approached the receptionist(male) and explained our dilemma, but he refused to help and move us upstairs, despite having paid extra for Oceanview rooms. Upon insisting, they finally moved us, but the rooms were apart. The food was somehow okay, but most of the servers were grumpy, except for Sephora, she was very nice and humble. No entertainment was available in the hotel. The pool was the worst part of all. We found a USED SANITARY PAD(see picture) in the pool. We told the reception staff, they managed to remove it but the pool was not drained and cleaned. We lost a whole day, not being able to use the pool. The male receptionist was very rude, disrespectful and partial. There were clear instructions written of "NO JUMPING IN THE POOL" but the receptionist saw other guests jumping into the pool while there were kids who could be injured, however no remarks were made to them. It was so unfair. We asked to keep 1 room out of 4 for a late check out as we had late flights, the receptionist (Anastasia) very nice and humble lady, assured us that we will be able to keep 1 of the room, which was ground floor and was bigger in size as all of us. However on departure morning, when we approached the receptionist, the male receptionist was there again and said we cannot keep the any of the room and will have to vacate. Upon confronting about what was promised to us, he had the guts to argue and raise his tone of voice. The owner was on spot but did not intervene which was so unprofessional on his behalf. The worst of all was when we were checking out, we were told that we have to pay for late check out for a horrendous amount of Rs 1500. We refused to pay as we were never notified about any fee for late check out. Such a rip off place. I will never recommend anybody to go there.

The place to be.. We've been there, we appreciate the welcoming, the staffs were great, very professional. The food was delicious, Entertainment wow absolutely wonderful. We have been pampered. Thank you. We recommend it. And will surely come back.

Nice hotel even if they need to refurbish the room with some black out curtain. Food very good, good cultural evening, good services how ever they need to be more punctual at the reception on the organization of the excursion and transfer, we need to always wait for our transfer.
