We visited just before it was due to be closed and i was very impressed. I couldn't really fault the hotel at all. Staff were very helpful, rooms were clean and tidy. Food was good at the buffet and the pool and beach were great. If it was still open we would go again.

Terrible stay
Would not recommend staying here. Booked the Premium Junior Suite, which said there would be an in-room safe, we got to the room and there was no safe, and we told the front desk on the first day, and it wasn't until our 3rd day on the trip we had a safe put in the room.
There was rain during the trip, and the rain leaked into the room, our front door had cracks in it and wouldn't fully open, and on top of that there was water pressure issues throughout the trip, with 2 days of the trip not having any water from the sink / shower, and hundreds of ants both on the balcony and right outside the front door.
Service was not good, requested same day laundry, and it took 2 days and us calling the laundry room to ask where the laundry was to have our clothes returned.
Went to the pool on the second day and there were no towels available for 2 hours due to laundry issues.
When I spoke to management about the issues with the room, they basically told me tough luck and didn't do anything to make things better.
Will 100% not be staying here again.

Disrepair
The hotel needs repairs. Electrical is in terrible condition. Lighting is poor. Facility needs a face lift. Disrepair

Watch your hotel credits
When we arrived at the hotel check in way ok and our room was dated but the size and view were excellent. The bed was confee and it was clean.
We went down to dinner which was an experience, the bar joined the dining room and the drink had flowed all day for some so the volume and conversation took over the meal. People were filling take away boxes of food for those not able to make it. The food, presentation and hygiene were disappointing.
The next morning when we went to find a sun bed none were available and we were informed that you needed to put towels out before 6am!!!!!
I then had a massage and was told it was within my resort credit ultimately resulted in the spar and reception having different rules so after wasting a lot of time I paid but lost £50 resort credit if I had had more time I would have battled but instead I feel I should warn people.
The water sports guy Greg was amazing and the staff in general were very nice but from talking to others this hotel has seen better days.
The location was great and the beach was lovely.

Rooms were really good, food was not.
UPSIDE:
-The staff were friendly and polite.
-The room was excellent. Zero complaints about the room.
-The location was great. Right on the beach, yet a short walk to Rodney Bay village. No need for a cab.
-Several good restaurants within walking distance.
-Pool was clean and the right temperature.
-Safe swimming area in the ocean/towels provided
-Fridge and hairdryer in the room (no microwave)
DOWNSIDE:
-Food was awful. Do not buy the all inclusive, instead walk off the property and eat in the safe and friendly neighborhood
-Karaoke at the pool during the day. Totally ruins the chill vibe. Evening was fine but during the day it was torturous.
-Pool bar. Very slow service, so pack your patience. No bottled beer, even for purchase which was disappointing.
Summary: Would I stay here again? Yes, but not with the all inclusive. Fun place if you are bringing a group.

Do not recommend
My husband and I just returned from an 8 night stay and wanted to leave on day 2. The positive… the staff was wonderful and so helpful, we can’t say enough about the people. The beach was beautiful and is where we spent a majority of our time. Get up early to ensure you get an umbrella - it’s worth it! The negative….the resort was falling apart. We had water dripping from the ceiling (we were on the first floor), no hot water on night 2 and no cold water on night 8. We had to move rooms as did a few of the other guests we happened to meet. Some rooms are more updated than others. The food was absolutely horrible and they never changed the menu. We gave up on the all inclusive and went off the property for every meal. I would not recommend this place for anyone who feels like good food and quality wine are a key aspect of a good vacation.

My stay at Mystic by Royalton in St. Lucia was extremely disappointing. The resort is below standards, has recently been bought out by Royalton and will be shutting down for demolishing starting August. Old and broken fixtures throughout, indicating a severe lack of maintenance. Walls were moldy and demonstrated water damage. The resort was filthy.
The customer service was poor, with unprofessional staff who did not seem to care about guest satisfaction.
The food was disgusting and barely edible, far from what you would expect at a resort, overall experience very unpleasant.
I would not recommend this resort to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The people were so kind. They FREE money! The pools and lobby was nice!!! I wish I could live here. Me and my friends are leaving today. If I were you make your trip longer! Enjoy your stay!!!! Thanks again sara! You were so helpful with wiping my butt.
