Greeting’s from the US! We stayed here for two nights while traveling around the UK. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner while staying there at the pub. The food was great and had good portions for the price. All the staff were great and very friendly. I would stay there again and would definitely refer it to others staying in Stroud.

Lovely pub and beer garden. Fantastic staff - especially Debbie who checked us in on Saturday, and the beautiful Millie who served us breakfast and checked us out on Sunday. She did not stop smiling - she is a credit to her family and employees. Room was lovely, with tea, coffee, water, biscuits. Very clean with comfortable bed and pillows. Evening meals were huge - I had the fish and chips and my husband had the chicken curry. Both were fantastic. Great freshly cooked breakfast - all produce was top quality and cooked to perfection. if I had one grudge it would be that the cost of a bottle of Chardonnay (Jack Rabbit) and half of St Miquel was £32.00! Would definitely come back and highly recommend to others.

Beautiful building. Walked into a lovely older worlde bar and was warmly welcomed by staff and patrons. We're shown to a compact double room that was so clean and well presented and even had it's own patio area. There was a great information book that was concise and to the point with information on the local area etc ( some places we've stayed have a book that would take a week to read!). After a comfortable night we went down to what was one of the best cooked breakfasts we've both enjoyed in a long time. All the ingredients were of a good quality, tasty and well presented. A good choice of juices, cereals and jams were also available. Would definitely stay here again. Ten out of ten from us.

Called into the Clothiers on a weekday evening. Sat in the Restaurant and was served by two lovely waitresses. The food was excellent. Big portions and good quality food. We had Ham Egg and Chips, all delicious and my partner had a burger. He was very impressed by its taste and quality. We also had a side of onion rings… it was an enormous portion! The waitresses, Izzy and Tiri, were lovely, attentive but not too overbearing, and they met our requests with a smile and friendly word. Will definitely be back.

Charming pub, clean nice room—sleeps four 4️⃣ if you need. With breakfast—full range from full English, including vegetarian option to just cereal or croissants. Close to walk to town for the Saturday market and down to pond for swans. Lovely,

This was a wonderful place to stay with a local feel. Enjoyed a couple of pints in the lively pub, and was happy that the liveliness didn’t follow me to my comfortable and quiet room.
