Friendly and low key. A solid roadside stop.

Booked 3 nights in the unrenovated area but that should not mean one is willing to compromise on basic cleanliness -mold/mildew, rust, stained carpets and the room smelled so bad I had to open the window. After 1 night I decided to check out early. No one was at the front desk for over 1 hour so I left a note that I was leaving early. Later I contacted them to explain why and was told they would not refund the 2 nights but would give me a credit to return for 2 nights. No thank you. Very poor customer service, and it’s nearly impossible to speak to anyone as there is no email, rarely is someone at the front desk and the phone number gives you the option to either select a room # or to speak to an operator, but when you try doing that it rings 1-2 times and then you are transferred back to the selection options. There is no option for voicemail.
