Motel 6 Rocky Mount, NC

RUN! Too filthy to consider Nasty sums it up! The place was filthy. Hairs in the sheets, tub and toilet. I slept on the top sheet and folded it over like a sleeping bag. I realize it's under renovations (not mentioned on the website!) but it should really be closed down until they can operate fully. To say nothing of health code violations. I reported it to the gentleman at the desk upon check out but didn't get a response. I'm not sure he understood me. The two staff members I encountered were Indian and listening to Indian radio which seemed to be more entertaining than checking me in to the hotel. Other reasons to not consider it: towels were paper thin and super small, no shampoo or conditioner. The shower curtain was filthy and the tub was terribly stained. Oh and the hot water was luke warm. Also, it is SO NOT right at I95 and 64. It was 10 minutes off the highway and after traveling 13 hours with another 4 to go in the morning, the last thing I needed was an extra 20 minutes of driving. I've stayed at other Motel 6's before and have had positive experiences. This is one I will be sure to never consider again. UGH!
