We were so disappointed with our stay. Last year about this time we chose to stay in the Hampton Inn, Rocky Mount, North Carolina. We were pleased with our stay so this year we chose to go there again. We were so disappointed. Front desk, barely acknowledged that we were there Just handed us the keys. The room was not clean. I always use a Lysol wipe to sanitize in a hotel room and there was so much dust and some dirt which is absolutely unusual for Hampton Inn when I sat in the desk chair I almost flipped over backwards because it was broken, bit worst all was the mattresses for cleanliness as we always do because we travel a lot,we discovered a VERY stained and old looking mattress. Thankfully we had two beds and the other bed, though not in great condition only had stains along the edges. I reported this to the front desk and was told they would let maintenance know. No apology. Interestingly enough I never received a survey for that stay. We are loyal Hilton customers and have never experienced this before.

This was a stop by as I was driving up to Hershey, PA. Great ambience when you walk in, staff was great except the morning lady addressing the breakfast. She as to aggressive speaking to me on how to use the utensils while I was serving my own food. She was like a hawk watching the kids preparing their plates and cleaning after them as they did a mess which they didn't. Room was very comfortable, good options for breakfast.

We stayed at this property on our way to Washington DC. I booked the room while traveling from our home in Florida. I received a call from Vanessa who was inquiring as to which accessible room we would need. I explained that our daughter was in a wheelchair and that we would need room to maneuver her in the room. She said that she would make sure that the room would accommodate us. When we got to the room that evening, it was exactly what we had asked for. When we checked out this morning, Vanessa was at the front desk and asked if everything worked out. We often deal with challenges when traveling with our daughter and we have never had a property reach out to us prior to our stay to make sure that our room accommodations will work. Thank you Vanessa for making our stay a welcoming one!!!

Overcharged and website STILL lists pool under ”Your stay includes” on the booking page I booked the room on the Hilton Honors app at around $240 a night. Upon checking receipt, I was charged $316 a night! No way I booked it at that rate. Sales manager insisted that was the rate, but NO other families I stayed there with paid that amount per night. (there for softball tourney). If you look now, they do not have a $316 rate for ANY nights except maybe holidays! I also NEVER got a confirmation email with the rate on it. Front desk was rude. Breaker in room kept tripping and I had to reset it several times. No manager's reception like the website and elevator stickers advertise. breakfast was decent one day, raw sausage links the next. Using app we pre-checked in and chose a room. Upon arrival the room chosen was given away. What's the point? THE POOL IS AND HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR 2022. But the booking page, where you chose your room, STILL has it listed in the ”Your stay includes” section. They HIDE the fact the pool is closed behind an obscure link that you have to go hunting for. Disappointing hotel for a Hilton member since 2014. Thankfully Hilton Corporate loaded me with Points to soften the blow of this cruddy stay and smarmy business practices.

After comparing it, I felt that the price/performance ratio was relatively high, so I booked a room. The specific experience is very good, the room is large, there is a microwave, but there is no hot water kettle. There is hot water and coffee downstairs, available at any time. The breakfast was beyond imagination and rich. Every year when I travel from the north of the United States to Florida, I rest for one night in this part of North Carolina. Will continue to use it in the future. The luggage is all in the car, so it's safe at night. this point is very important.

I arrived after midnight and although I didn't get a ground floor room as requested I was able to use the elevator to get to the 2nd floor. The room was good enough for me and my quick stay but I would be hesitant to stay with my family. Which isn't a bad mark on this Quality Inn. My wife just expects more in a stay than I do. The room was decent, the bed was comfortable, the ac worked well, so I was good for my short stay. I couldn't get the deadbolt to catch so I put the latch on and scooted the oversized chair over in front of the door. There was some trash behind the chair that got missed but overall the room was okay. The upper halls need more lights and the property needs some better upkeep but as long as they don't try to overcharge for the room and know what their price point should be I would stay here again.

I have been strolling for a long time. I can finally travel and drive to Florida. I need a day off on the way. The room is very large, clean and non-smoking. The bed is very comfortable. Suitable for family living, with a large refrigerator, electric stove, coffee maker, hot water maker, dishwasher, and usual bowls, dishes, pots. Not far from Walmart, can buy some things to heat up and use in the room. No breakfast, estimated to be the relationship of the epidemic. Try to be less exposed. Still chose this hotel from Florida. Very quiet and safe.
