You don't have to go around to the main entrance. The price is cheaper than the 711 across the street from the main entrance, but 711 is open 24 hours a day. The hotel is very close to the subway station and you can see it when you go out. The hotel's underground parking lot costs $25 a day, which is much cheaper than driving to DC to park. Get on the bus at the Twinbrook subway station. If you are going to DC for a whole day, it is recommended to buy a one-day pass for $15.5 ($2 is the cost of the transportation card, which is non-refundable and is also a good souvenir for tourism), which allows you to take the bus unlimited times. The subway is $6.75 one-way, and $2 after 9 pm. The bus is $2. DC has a circulator for 1 US dollar, but if you don't have change or a transportation card, the driver will not let you put in coins. It was a great stay! The remote was broken so no tv for the weekend but overall, it was a great place & the location is in the heart of Rockville.

Very clean and the women at front desk, I believe her name is Grace was absolutely wonderful. The only negative thing to mention was the $20 a day park and the garage was in a separate building, (so on a cold and windy night which it was)it kinda sucks to have to carry luggage.

Breakfast is OK, the hotel is not located in Washington, DC, no car is not convenient, the hotel has a parking lot.

The breakfast was very poor...but the breakfast at the American hotel was very poor, and it couldn’t be compared to the country...the room was average. The hotels nearby are almost the same, this is OK. There is a small shopping center in the hotel for 2 minutes. There are supermarkets and restaurants. It is quite convenient.

My order included breakfast, but the hotel said it did not. After checking trip.com and the hotel, it was available, but I didn’t wait for the reply from trip.com. There is NO Shuttle Service.(The reason for 2* for Service and 3* for Facilities) They do offer compensation for uber/Lyft/Taxi within 3 miles(Rio Shopping Center and Shady Grove Metro), however for some reason Taxis Services won't come to this location. Use the Radisson Hotel next door instead for pick up. The Breakfast is very good, and staff is very friendly! It is a great place to stay if you just want to sleep, eat, and leave. The share fitness center is well maintained as well as a 24 hours small Dunkin' Donuts. Pool is seasonal. Everything works but AC/Heating Unit (one broken Grid) and TV(30”?) is a little out of date.

Although the exterior felt old, the interior of the room was clean and spacious enough to allow for a comfortable stay. Also, in the morning, you can have a quick bite to eat as they have apples or bananas, muffins, and coffee. However, it was a bit disappointing that there was no breakfast buffet with a variety of foods.
