Motel 6 Rockford, IL

There was no food available as I had to leave at 5 AM, and the coffee/snacks does not open until 7 AM. The service was okay, it seem as though I was "bothering" the fellow at the front desk by checking in. He was seemly preoccupied and rushed me along. The new lobby looked nice, last time I was there it was still under construction. The day was extremely hot, in the high nineties and high humidity. There were NO ice machines available. The air conditioner in my room was filthy and most of the buttons were dented in and unusable, the air conditioner worked but was producing seemingly "wet" or "moist" air, it was very uncomfortable trying to sleep plus the fact that I could not get any ICE for water. The hallway door was propped open with a floor tile, which made me very uncomfortable and not at all secure and safe. Yes, it's an inexpensive motel, but I'd expect a little more care from the management to see people who do choose to stay are at least afforded ICE and a working Air Conditioner. Seemingly disappointed and won't stay there again. Plus, they have a military discount, which I was not given. Also, I had brought several bottles of water with me unfortunately the refrigerator was NOT plugged in when I checked in, even though I had a reservation and they knew I was coming.

No staff and dirty sheets

I got bug bites being there and left early they won't issue a refund.
