The Staff at the Fairfield Inn in Rockford are the BEST! Terri and her team are all a pleasure. I have honestly never met such friendly, professional, and hospitable hotel representatives in all my years of travel. Highly recommend this property.

Front desk employee KC was so wonderful helping with accommodating my family of 5 when we traveled there for a baseball tournament. The room was booked through the tournament as a stay and play, however they took my reservation for 5 and only told the hotel the room was for one adult, and we ended up with a room that was too small. KC took the time needed to make sure we would all have a place to sleep, and he did it with such joy and a willingness to help ensure our family would be comfortable. I have never before experienced this level of customer service, especially over the phone. This call set the tone for our upcoming visit. KC went above and beyond, and I hope he is recognized for what a wonderful asset he is to this company. Thank you, KC!

We are on a road trip and have stayed in a number of Marriott properties. This one stuck out. Nice clean property with happy and caring staff. The breakfast lady Mary was a total delight! Nothing was too much trouble. Stay here you won’t be disappointed.

Our memorable 2 night stay started off at check-in. If I could rate this hotel 10 stars I would! This is an immaculate hotel with caring employees. I was greeted by Terri who checked us in and presented us with a Marriott member welcome bag containing waters and goodies. She was very friendly and relatable and accommodated all of our needs. In the morning, sweet Mary welcomed us at the breakfast buffet. She treated us like a guest in her home! She was VERY attentive and loving towards EVERYONE. CJ at the front desk offered to call our next Marriott hotel to arrange our special requests. (It worked out well, CJ). I felt like I was amongst one big happy family! The employees here have many years of service and I see why; which speaks volumes for Terri the GM! I’m looking very forward to seeing our “Marriott family” on our next trip.

I would like to give cudos to the management team. I had a family emergency and forgot to cancel. Nakia McDonald and Terry Curtis were very professional, personal, and when I called to ask for refund, it was given without question. I am a regular visitor when I visit Rockford and Fairfield is the place for me. This act of kindness will not be forgotten and in the future all my stays will be at the Fairfield when I visit. Again thank you Nakia (front desk manager) and Terry Curtis (general manager).

Front office very friendly when checking in. Hotel was very clean and quiet too. I was only there for a few hours as I was taking a bus from Van Galder, but I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. My morning wake up call was scheduled on time.

The hot tub was amazing. Mary was working the breakfast area and was SUCH a joy and a great start to our day!
