Tradewinds Motel

Our Corvette Club stayed at the hotel for two nights. Neil was very helpful in planning our reservation. The rooms were clean and comfy, just steps away from the beach. Plenty of safe parking for our cars. Overall, a great hotel for hosting a large group.

It was ok. Could hear every step upstairs. Bed not comfortable. DO NOT BOOK ON *******. I PAID ALMOST 3X POSTED RATE. SHAME ON *******. Ocean front. People don't know how to park in front of hotel so couldn't roll suitcase and I was dodging side mirrors.

The bed was wonderful! The room was very clean and great customer service! The room has everything you could need. Very comfortable and quiet and the view! The view! Wow! Very nice! The service was excellent! We will be back some day! Thank you!

My daughter and I spent a week in Oregon. Our 3 nights at Tradewinds was the very best part. There is a Dollar General a short walk away for times when you don't want to go to a restaurant or just want to grab some bath items, etc. The beach is just down the stairs, unlike many places that had "ocean views.". We also noticed a tub of sand toys available to use. We could not wait to get out of Embassy Suites, but hated to leave Tradewinds.

What a lovely place to hang out on the beach. We got a downstairs ocean view room. It was magical to listen to the waves crash in. Walk right out of our room onto the beach. There’s some picnic tables, barbecues and even a hose to wash your feet when you come back. Older building but well maintained, a place you could stay for awhile. Easy walk to the Dollar General store. Kitchenette had all we needed to prepare food. Great stay.

Lovely room, spacious with good amenities (microwave, fridge and coffee maker). An area with a table and chairs and a good sized bathroom. Very clean and clearly a well looked after hotel. The owner was very friendly and helpful giving us tips on good places on our trip to visit.

I stayed here on my first trip to the Oregon coast and found the Tradewinds to be a great home base for our explorations. The flowers on the front of the building are beautiful and remind me of Temple Bar in Dublin. Checkin was efficient and we were assigned a first-floor room with a patio that had direct access to the beach and back lawn. The room was spacious, with a kitchenette, couch and 4 top table. Importantly, the room was quiet and we didn't hear others even though the hotel was quite full. As others have mentioned, the fireplace was out of service. The room was a little dated, but quite clean and completely in line with what I expected at this price point. The shower heads are awesome! The patio is large enough to comfortably accommodate two people, and there are picnic tables in the grass lawn immediately off the patio. Do note that the 2nd-floor rooms don't have balconies or direct access to the beach from the room. Overall the service was friendly and appreciated and the beach is beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

Made an online reservation for ocean view. Some buildings directly face the beach but some are set back. It turned out our room was not in beaching facing building. We did have a distant side view. Room was okay with full kitchen. WiFi was weak and poor much of the time. Access to beach okay. We liked the food trucks available in town. I asked how one would know which building your room would be in and was told you had of call.

Person that works there tells us to wear mask to go in the office which is our choice to or not for whatever reason. Then had a feeling that was going to have more issues so we started in loading our van we was in then we went to the n to the room and started looking around and found a lot that was wrong with this place so we started taking pictures to have for evidence. This place is not recommended whatsoever since they can’t clean there hotel to better standards. Having the tv that was broke streaks on the walls that was not cleaned at all, sliding glass door frame has bad water damage that they tried to hide, then the fire place that did not work for whatever reason that the wall with the picture you move it to the side and see black smoke on the wall, then going to there bathroom to do the black light check shows they don’t clean the walls the sink area and under the sink where you can see this in the pictures. If I have to can show more pictures but hit on some of the points. So be aware of hotels and motels that say they are clean take a black light with you more often to see if they are truly clean.
