Relais et château très bien placé, en bord de Loire et proche de Tours et Amboise.Belles et surprenantes chambres troglodytes, très bien décorées, au calme. Nous avons apprécié le restaurant gastronomique avec au menu des produits régionaux. Le personnel a été très gentil.

What a delight! Rooms built into the famous Loire hills - very special and unique. Rooms are huge for European standards and well appointed.

Rooms lacked technology ports/charging options. Lighting in room very dim. No air conditioning or fans. Service while very polite was quite slow. I waited 30 minutes for someone to take my drink order and no other patrons were there. Not worth the price in my opinion.

It was a very good experience a hotel des roches. We loved the staff in particular. The rooms needs to be updated but overall the location is so special with a great view and central location that we didn’t care. Probably the best stay we had during our trip in the Loire valley.

Hotel de charme original avec ses chambres troglodytes. Restaurant excellent. A noter une particularité intéressante et très appréciable: Le dîner du coffret cadeau comportait 2 verres de vin au choix pour le repas en plus du champagne apéritif. Cela permet de choisir le vin en fonction des plats sans être tributaire du choix d'une bouteille; choix souvent difficile suivant les plats.

The hotel is unique, well situated with a lovely staff. The hotel is going through some changes following the arrival of new management, so there are still a few issues, but it remains a remarkable hotel. The rooms carved into the cliff are amazing.
