Attended as we were going to a wedding could do with more atmosphere in the bar area felt a bit boring.

Fantastic hotel in a good location with excellent spa and wellness facilities! Comfy be and lovely shower!

Hotel was nice . Said 24 hour bar and it wasn't said 24 hour room service and it wasnt ringing though to get room service was a farce. No one answered for ages. Bar closed early like ghost town from 7pm in the hotel

Rooms are all different, sometimes you gonna get water and shower gel , sometimes you won’t. Not consistent

Lovely service very attentive. Food was delicious not shy with their sauces! Food portions good Spa area lovely very relaxing. Very Reasonably priced Rooms were nice and spacious Everyone very welcoming and friendly Restaurant area could be updated

I spent 3 nights for work Room: the most uncomfortable bed I’ve experienced in any hotel Dinner : Nice but service is so bad with inexperience staff in the bar that are rude Breakfast : Very basic , so slow old coffee machine that keeps stopping , long queues , my request for an early anything to eat before I check out early on Saturday was declined ( breakfast starts 8 on weekends! Forgot some cloths as was rushing in the morning , called them the following day and was advised they found them and I can collect anytime , went to reception today after travelling 15 miles to get told nothing is there and the person on reception denies she ever spoke to me , very strange awful experience

We booked our wedding at Norton Grange hotel back in 2022 and Charlotte was so helpful and amazing from start to finish. We had our wedding 5th October & everyone at Norton grange hotel was understanding & helpful and made sure our wedding went so smoothly. Charlotte made sure everything went to plan I really cannot thank you enough. We would highly recommend Norton grange hotel and spa for weddings. All our friends & family said how smoothly, well decorated, timings & planned it was. We would like to say a massive thank you again you made our wedding perfect Mr & Mrs Nolan

Unfortunately not a very good experience … I wanted to only give one star but the facial I had was good .. the only positive … on arrival nothing was explained we were not shown we’re to go .. we fended for ourselves !!! The service in the spa was extremely poor .. very disappointing … the service in the bar area was poor too … for the prices changed for the spa i would have expected much more … I was thinking of becoming a member but definitely not now . The ladies changing room was freezing all in all very disappointed ☹️

I recently spent a wonderful spa break at the Mercure Norton Grange Hotel in Rochdale with my sister to celebrate my birthday weekend. We opted for the one-night dinner, bed, and breakfast package and stayed on the 15th of September, 2024. From start to finish, our experience was exceptional. We arrived around 2 pm and were checked into a spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed room, complete with a comfortable double bed, complimentary snacks, and toiletries. The robes and slippers provided were a lovely touch, making us feel instantly pampered. If you require a different size of robe, the spa staff are happy to accommodate, though you’ll need to leave something like your house or car keys as a deposit. After settling in, we changed into our swimwear, robes, and slippers and made our way to the spa centre. The waiting area was inviting, with a café offering free water and other treats. The calming décor immediately set the tone for relaxation. We both booked a 25-minute back and shoulder massage. Tammy, the therapist who did my massage, was fantastic! The atmosphere in the massage room was soothing, with soft music playing in the background and a refreshing sort of minty essence oil that Tammy released, setting a relaxing mood. She expertly worked through the tension in my back, and the experience was so good that I nearly fell asleep. Post-massage, we spent time at the pool. I enjoyed reading by the poolside, followed by a swim, and we made good use of the hot tub. The hot tub is perfectly situated to overlook the outside, and as it was raining, the contrast between the warmth of the water and the cool rain outside made it a truly serene experience. The spa also has a steam room, sauna, and other facilities that, fortunately, were not too crowded during our visit. Later, we got ready for our three-course dinner, which was included in the package and a fantastic deal! Drinks were not included, but they were extremely affordable. For our meal, we had Cajun wings as starters, followed by a pizza and Cajun chicken burger for mains, and finished with a delicious tiramisu and cheesecake for dessert. The food exceeded our expectations in terms of flavor and quality, especially for a hotel restaurant. The dining area was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. One minor drawback was that our room was located directly in front one of the lifts, which could be a bit noisy, especially for light sleepers. However, after the indulgence of the spa and a comfortable night’s sleep in the high-quality bed, we barely noticed the noise and slept soundly. The following morning, we headed down for breakfast, which was a standard continental buffet. There was a great variety of options, from fresh juices and coffee to baked goods and bread, all of which were fresh and delicious. We certainly enjoyed the meal!
